Toys for big boys. They didn't make ninja cat girls like this when I was little. This was advertised as an NYCC Exclusive. I'm not sure about that because, it's advertised on the back of the box as just another color of the same figure. And there's nothing on the box that says otherwise but...I still love it.I wouldn't buy this for it's educational value, unless you're trying to teach your son about the birds and the bees. Yes, my friends, the top does come off to reveal where the little kittens get their nutrients from. Never a better pair seen in real life.The durability was not really an issue because it's not made to play with. Most folks that collect these 1/6 scale figures are collectors and either leave them in the box or perch them on their shelf. It's as tough, or weak, as any other PVC figure.As to the sculpt, this is top drawer quality. The detail on the clothing (what little there is) is very nice. Right down to the blade and handle on the sword. The face is especially sexy. Anime yet, womanly. Not like most of these figures which are 11 year old girls with large chests. The tail does bother me be a bit. It looks like a racoon tail and doesn't feel as though it goes with the rest of the figure. As if the original tail broke off and they stuck a back-up tail on it.All in all, I love it.

I must admit that little sapphire here is one of the favorites in my collection and she certainly get plenty of compliments (I should be so lucky) when viewed by friends. If you look at her closely, and who wouldn't, you just know for sure you don't want to be messing with any redheaded, blue eyed assassins. The workmanship in this figurine is lovely and she is perfectly dressed for her part. I should hope that these figurines are kept away from the little ones, but do be warned with this particular model, the top does come down, and while completely delightful, it is not something you would want Jr. playing with when his friends are over. As with all these figurines, it MUST be remembered that these are NOT toys, they are collector items and should be treated as such. This one has been a wonderful addition to my collection and I am looking forwarded to expanding. Tandum Twin makes a good product and this is one of their better offerings, in my opinion. The educational value of this figurine in in the eye of the beholder and the durability is moot as it is really only to look at and it you break it by too much fondling, well...shame on you!

The Sapphire edition of this Yamato series, like the 4 other figures, are based on the same samurai pose with sword. Sapphire is unique in that there is a tattoo across the back, and kanji on her left upper arm. Each of the 5 figures come in a different color scheme as far as costume and hair and skin color.The artist is Kouichi Yamazaki, the collections being TANDEM TWIN's clan of Lynx Animal Girls. Each figure is named by a jewel stone. The distributor is Yamato.The figure list is as follows:1) Ruby (first of series, dark brown hair, pale white skin, blue top)2) Emerald (second of series, red hair, un-naturally orange skin, black top)3) Amethyst (first of second group, black hair, pink skin, black top)4) Topaz (second of second group, blonde hair, tanned skin, two swords and removable eye patch)5) Sapphire (third of second group, red hair, natural white skin, flame with kanji tattoo on back, kanji tattoo on upper left arm)The figures are made of PVC, with the removable halter top made of flexible rubber. The paint job is exceptionally well-done, the coloring and gradient excellent.Several of the figures are no longer available unless a second production under a re-release is subsequently done.

今は亡きﾔﾏﾄの作品フィギュアで、動物ねーちゃん山猫の5種類の一つ。目玉は青ですね。スタンダードの赤玉と比較すると肩と背中に刺青らしきものがあり写真では分かりづらいのですが、肌の色が赤みを帯びています、かなり。防具類は相変わらず良くできていて手間がかかっていると思います。なんでしょうか？このフィギュア、赤玉と比べて清楚感がないですね。緑玉や黄玉のように野性的な褐色とも違う。中間を狙ったんでしょうが、色白にした方が良かった気がします。でもこのフィギュア、見てて可愛いし、目は青く光り、体はセクシーでなかなかの作品と思います。特に目がﾌﾟﾘﾝﾄﾀｲﾌﾟのものでは絶対に表現できないものをもっています。
