My father has diabetes with swollen feet and high arches—what shoe features should I look for?

Look for an XX-wide toe box and adjustable Velcro straps to accommodate both swelling and high arches, and these are easier to put on because the Velcro allows you to simply open, slide his foot in, and secure it without any struggling.

Do these shoes have extra depth at the heal?

They are very wide in the heal, not tapered from the wide foot bed. Easy to slide on a “puffy” foot and ankle. These shoes feature wide and extra wide toe box to provide the maximum level of comfort for those with wide or swollen feet.

I walk my long gravel driveway each day, so are the soles sturdy enough to not feel the gravel?

The soles are thick and have a nice insert on the inside to cushion the foot. The insole is not memory foam, it's more like a thick standard foam. The sole consists of a high rebound EVA sole that provides stable support and shock reduction.

My husband's feet are two different sizes. Can one pair of shoes actually fit both feet comfortably?

Yes. These diabetic shoes are engineered with a high-instep design and offers generous interior volume to accommodate various thicknesses of insoles, allowing for a customized fit to suit different foot shapes.

Do these shoes breathe well?

Yes, these shoes have a spandex upper with PU leather, features breathable inner material that maintains internal air circulation to keep your feet dry and cool. This helps prevent moisture buildup and keeps your feet comfortable.
