Pearlight 12V IP67 waterproof LED power supply Aluminum Alloy Transformer AC110 to 12 Volt DC Output (300W)

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I wanted to setup some LED lights along my sidewalk and some in my garage and I went looking for what I needed and this power supply looked to be what I needed and since they made a matching set of lights for this power supply ( Pearlight DC12V Silicone LED Neon Rope Light ) I thought it sounded like a great match.The weather turned a bit nasty so I have not gotten to setup outside yet but I did wire everything up and tested it and it worked flawlessly and made me think some of those bad reviews might be more operator error than a defective unit but anyway it works perfectly, the lights are powered according to the instructions and if I had any complaint it was the lack of a AC plug but since this was hospital grade for less than $3, I grabbed it from Amazon (Leviton 515PV 15 Amp, 125 Volt, Grounding Plug, Yellow). Wiring it up was simple but I took some pictures just in case anyone needed to look it over. The video is kind of sloppy but shows that everything works together perfectly (notice that 3 wires are connect on each side of the light)So let me recap: Good price, heavy duty product, solid construction, waterproof (very important) so unless it actually fails I have to say 5 Stars and if that changes I will update this review.

I bought 4 of these transformers. Works ok, but lifespan is short. Two of them are dead - one failed after 8 months, another after 7 months.They are used to power DC12V garden lights, each line has about 130 W which is less than 50% of 300W load.Worst thing is that "one year warranty" is a fake - warranty is counted from manufacturing date (green sticker on the supply body). Here is the sticker for the transformer I bought in May 2020 - it was manufactured in May 2019, so warranty is not valid at the date of purchase! This is unbelievable.Moreover, sales representative says that "many customers are using this supply incorrectly" - having PhD in EE I could not prove them anything! Overall I lost almost 200$. Piece of junk, don't buy these

Pretty much what it says. Plug is not included, so you have to add your own, which wasn't a problem. This power supply was designed for use with LEDs, so it has three separate sets of DC outputs. I was using this to power a telescope mount and some cameras, so I tied all three positives and all three commons together to give me one DC supply with the connector of my choice on the end. I didn't have a lot of load on it, maybe 12 - 15 amps, and the power supply didn't get very hot at all. I also picked this particular power supply because it was rated IP67 since I was using it outside, and there was a chance of dew or condensation while I was using it. Overall, well worth the price and they offer Prime delivery.

I'm using this power supply to drive almost 20 Amps of LED strips. The power supply is feeding in to 2 Colorful-USA 1CH 0-10V PWM dimmers. The Lutron RMJS-8T-DV-B 0-10 volt controller is providing the signaling via several Lutron PJ2-3BR wall mounted Pico switches. What a great solution with perfectly smooth dimming and complete shut off of the power supply at 0 volts.

I've had two of these. The first one failed on the bench, so I returned it for a replacement. The replacement worked okay when first tested, but then wasn't installed until well past the return period. Just like the first one, the replacement worked just long enough the make me think it was okay, but then quickly failed. Neither were subjected to abuse or heavy loads, they just quietly died. Only useful as a paper weight.

Well built outdoor LED power supply. Comes without an AC plug and wiring diagram on module takes a bit of studying to figure out. My power supply is powering 4 heavy duty spotlights that light a stone wall. Power supply is all alluminum. Wire lengths are short but you can easily add on 12v wire as needed. On 110v side I placed the power supply directly next to an outdoor outlet box and purchased a 110v plug for the power supply.

I've been using these for several years, from powering under cabinet lights, to color-changing LEDs, to accent up-lighting, to replacing fluorescent lights, etc. Rock-solid, with no failures in the about a dozen that I've bought.

Installed fine, worked for a day, then lights flash on and off continuously. There is no troubleshooting guide. Wiring was pretty straightforward. Attached 3 7-watt LED bulbs to this "LED Driver" and they just blink on and off continuously until I turn off the switch. Took a month of trying to figure it out, having an electrician out, to determine the product just didn't work as advertised. Missed my return window (with Amazon), so I'm stuck with it. All I can do is write this review.

I ordered this product to power some under cupboard LED Lights in the kitchen, which would be powered off the cooker hood switch.This worked just as intended, the product feels well made and is reassuringly solid ( a lot of the other drivers I have used on projects feel very flimsy and don't inspire confidence in the electronics). The slim profile and screw tabs make it perfect for tucking away and securing easily.The driver has now been installed for around 14 days and works flawlessly, with no flicker in the lights.All in all a great product I would buy again for the next project!

I can confidently give this 5 stars, no complaints and overall really happy with the product. I got the 150W power supply for a project to power LED strips ammounting to roughly 120W. The LED strips are on around 8 hours a day.POWER DELIVERYIt works great, there is no flickering or loss of light output intensity through the length of the led strips. As per the manufacturer you should leave 20% headroom for the sake of longevity of the unit. This is the case with most AC to DC power supplies. Speaking of heat, the unit is covered in solid metal and only gets vaguely warm at 120W even during long use.BUILD QUALITYThis power supply is also really well built, solid feel and covered in a metal case(aluminium I think) and comes with L type brakets with holes on each side length way for easy mounting so you can screw it in to any surface or zip tie it like I did. I have not tested the waterproof claim but all the entrances and exits on either side have little plastic covers and the whole thing looks air tight.Buy with confidence!

Note well there is a 2 second delay after switching the unit on before the lights come on. This is a little confusing the first time, otherwise works very well.

Faulty after less than a year, causes LEDs to flicker. Like other reviewers, it was used way below its 150W rated capacity. Just poor quality control or design.
