My cat had what I think was a bad UTI for weeks. Tried a round of antibiotics and those did not seem to help at all. She was peeing all over the house and the pee had visible blood still afterward. In the meantime, while I was waiting for her vet appointment, I decided to switch her food to something for urinary issues since she is obviously prone to them anyway. Her symptoms seem to be GONE after just about a week of this food. No more peeing all over, no more frequent peeing either. This stuff seems to really do the trick and she likes it which is surprising since she’s so picky with food. It’s a yes for me!

My cat kept getting urinary tract infections. I switched to the Purina brand. He loves the food and he hasn’t had any issues since starting on this. I’m very pleased no more vet visits.

Updated Review 5-30-17 So, after eating this cat food my cat did get blocked again BUT that was because I filled his bowl with it and he sat there eating it until he was bulging. After taking to the vet for another UTI, I decided to give it another try. Now it is working and he likes it alot. That said I have to give it to him in quarter cup rations throughout the day. Using this method, so far he is not blocked again. I was really hoping for something I could put in a feeder that I could refill once a week or so and then just do wet food as a treat. That does not work with this cat. He will sit there eating until he bursts. Maybe that is because he was feral until we adopted and tamed him last fall. I am upgrading my review from 1 to 4 stars. For those of you with a cat like this one that is to UTI you might try adding 50mg of vitamin C twice a day to their wet food. That has worked better than anything for this cat and Amazon has Dr. Goodpet Crystal C that is palatable for cats. Original Review: After being UTI free for 4 months and doing really well on a program of vitamin C, wet cat food and broth (without onion) I decided to try this urinary tract health dry cat food from Purina. First, it has great reviews. Second, I wanted to make my life easier and third my cat loves dry food. MISTAKE! This cat food completely stopped him up in lass than 2 days. Now I am facing a $500 vet bill just to get him unblocked again. If he gets the full surgery it's over $3K. This food totally did not work for my cat AND Amazon does not allow returns on cat food - nor of course do they cover the vet bills. If I had bought it on Chewy.com they would have at least refunded my money. So, buyer beware!

My boy care bear loves this dry food. He has urinary track issues. He prefers dry food over wet.

This cat food is the same as a prescription cat food. The only thing that has to deal with cats and crystals and urinary tract is the magnesium. Cat food manufacturers don’t care about how much magnesium is in their foods are a regulation on how much magnesium they’re allowed to have on the food which end result is a lot of cats get urinary blocks and die because of it. This food has low magnesium. I’ve tried several different prescription cat foods and they’ve made my cats very sick. They’ve lost weight throwing up and everything. I found this one on here and I switched them and they’ve never had any issues. My cat who is now prone to urinary blocks because of the crap cat food that’s unregulated has done just fine on this food. I’d say save yourself the money of ridiculous Vet visit and get a prescription and buy this food that only is it better and doesn’t have as many fillers and crap in it. It’s low magnesium like the prescription once without the cost. My cats have stopped throwing up, so it’s their stomach is not being messed with because of it and they must like the taste because they eat the crap out of it.

better value than purchasing in store. I have a relative who I get this for because their cat cannot eat anything else. All this person's cats (3) eat this food and love it. Nice big bag. Trusted brand.

Purchased it for my male cat after reading the positive reviews of the past customers. My cat was having stone problem amd used to urinate here and there. But now he is really fine and don't even spray anywhere but in his litter tray. Recommend for cats with stone problem

Bought this for my cats and they didn't like it as much as Tender Selects I feed them both and usually, this one is left untouched until the other bowl is finished Those critters will only eat if they are really hungry 😅
