Good deal
If you are going to install this in a jar lid you will need a 1/2 inch drill bit. The 3/8'' is the size hole for a stopper for a carboy.Also a good idea to clean off the molding ridge on the sides of the stem.

Airlock fine grommets defective
I tried using four of the six grommets I received today and they broke in half. I plan on trying to use the other two but I expect they are also defective. I have never had this problem with grommets I bought from previous suppliers. I am giving 3 stars because the airlocks seem fine so far

Make your own wine!
Really easy to use. Comes with everything pictured and instructions. Also you can find endless info online for beginners to experts on how to make your own wine. Happy drinking!

Works as as it should
Perfect tool for the home brewing set-up... will be using them for hot sauce fermentation as well. Good quality and lots of extra grommets.
