Protects my lens and my soul!
Got it for my EF-S 55–250mm f/4–5.6 IS. Worth It. Protection: I shoot outside a lot- car shows, dirt, pollen, flying bugs with attitude, and this thing’s been a great first line of defense. I'd rather clean or replace a filter than risk scratching actual glass. Bonus: no anxiety wiping it with a t-shirt if I have to. Optical Clarity: No weird color cast, no ghosting, and it hasn’t affected sharpness at all—even at 250mm. I was worried it might dull the image, but nope. Photos still come out crisp and contrasty. (note I have to stop this lens down to like f8 anyway as its pretty soft at 250) Build Quality: It’s super slim, threads on smoothly, and doesn’t feel like the bargain bin trash you sometimes get with cheap filters. Doesn’t get stuck, doesn’t rattle, and doesn’t look like a toy. ⚠️ Important Note: (I used an EMOJI, so you better read this!!!) CLEAN YOUR LENS WELL BEFORE PUTTING THIS ON. It threads on fine, but trust me, you don’t want to keep taking it off and on. Put it on once and leave it. Any dust, fingerprint, or oil on the front element WILL show up in your shots like a nasty watermark you didn’t ask for. Treat it like applying a screen protector, clean, then cover and LEAVE IT ON. Bottom Line: If you’ve got the 55–250mm or any 58mm filter size lens, grab this. Cheap peace of mind, no image degradation, and it saves you from the heartbreak of scratched glass or sneeze damage mid-shoot.

Works with PVS-14 Style night vision goggles
Originally ordered these as a replacement sacrificial lense for my RNVG dual night vision goggles that utilize the PVS-14 style lenses. They screwed on perfectly and I didn't notice any additional blurriness. Cheap and effective. Could be worth stockpiling these if night vision training is your thing and you consistently bump your nods into things. Time will tell how durable it is but it feels like the glass and protects against direct lense scratches so it's durable enough for me.

Works great
Works as intended and keeps my camera lens glass protected. I haven't noticed any change in image quality. Great value for the money.

Great filter
Beautiful, well made and excellent fit and finish. A must for daily use on any lens to cut UV rays. An all around filter for constant use and lens protection.

Works well, good image quality, but tight-fitting
I own two of these K&F filters, one in 58mm and one 67mm. After about 6 months, I have found both of them to work quite well. The only issue that I can find is that with the 58mm, the threads are very tight when screwing it into the lens, making it very easy to cross-thread the filter. After several attempts, I was able to get it started properly and seat it all the way down, but I suspect that at least some of the complaints that the filter could not be removed were due to it having been cross-threaded. I did notice that installing the same filter onto different lenses results in different degrees of tightness, but overall it is a very tight-fitting when compared to my Hoya filter. I was curious about some of the reviews suggesting that the image quality is affected by their use, so I decided to do a quick test. Both pictures were taken using the same lens, but with and without the K&F filter (the one on the left is with the filter and the one on the right is without it). To my eye, there are some very slight contrast and color differences, but no differences that I can see with regard to sharpness. For a more objective opinion, I decided to ask Grok to analyze differences between the two, and this is what it produced: Left image (With Filter) vs. Right image (No Filter): 1. Color Left (With Filter): Slightly warmer and more saturated overall. The green of the fruit has a richer, more vibrant lime-green tone with subtle yellowish highlights on the lit areas. The shadows and background foliage appear a bit deeper and more golden. Right (No Filter): Cooler and more neutral. The green is a bit flatter and more "true-to-life" but less vivid. It lacks the warmth and saturation boost seen on the left. Summary: The filter adds a noticeable warmth and saturation boost, making colors pop more. 2. Contrast Left (With Filter): Higher contrast. The highlights on the fruit's bumpy texture are brighter, and the shadows (especially under the fruit and in the background) are deeper. This gives the image more "pop" and dimensionality. Right (No Filter): Lower contrast. The image looks flatter, with more muted transitions between light and dark areas. The fruit doesn't stand out as strongly from the background. Summary: The filter increases contrast, enhancing depth and visual impact. 3. Sharpness Left (With Filter): Appears slightly sharper, particularly in the fine texture details of the fruit's skin (the bumps and pores are more defined) and the leaf edges. Right (No Filter): Very close in sharpness, but marginally softer overall. The fine surface details on the fruit are still visible but less crisp. Summary: The filter provides a subtle but noticeable sharpness boost, likely from optical effects or slight micro-contrast enhancement. Overall Impression The left image (with the K&F filter) looks more vibrant, punchy, and professionally polished — warmer colors, stronger contrast, and crisper details. The right image (no filter) is more neutral and "straight out of camera," but flatter by comparison. This is typical of a good quality protective/UV or light-enhancement filter that adds a bit of warmth and clarity without heavy color shifts. The differences are moderate — not dramatic, but clear when viewed side-by-side.

Amazing value for the money
Great cheap product made out of metal that feels high-quality and durable while not adding glare to my photos like some complain about

decent quality and highly affordable
Perfectly clear no lens distortion or moire, a little green flaring when aiming at a strong source of light but nothing too dramatic, the best part is it's threaded so I can still use my factory lens cover on it

Excellent slim UV filter with no visible impact on image quality
I’m using this filter on a Fujifilm GFX 100S and have been very impressed with it. The filter is extremely thin, well made, and fits perfectly without causing any vignetting. Image quality remains excellent even on a high-resolution medium format sensor. I have not noticed any loss of sharpness, contrast, or color accuracy. Reflections are well controlled and the filter stays easy to clean. For the price, the build quality is surprisingly good. It provides reliable lens protection while remaining virtually invisible in everyday use. Highly recommended if you are looking for an affordable, slim UV filter that does not compromise image quality

Remember when these were really expensive??
Decent price for a good filter. Doesn’t seem to have any colour cast or flaws. Easy on/off. No brainer to protect your expensive lens.
