Exactly what I expected

Years ago when we bought this item a rubber grout, fixing the seat to the toilet bowl with suitable screw, wore easily and in a short time we ended up with a wobbly seat - unsatisfactory. The suppliers refused to replace the grommit alone so I had to buy the complete seat plus fixings costing approx £130. After a while I had the same problem thanks to the rubber grommit wearing again. Same problem with suppliers, so another £130. However when it wore yet again my total purchase through Amazon was only approx £80. When it all arrived, surprise, surprise. The rubber grommit has now been replaced by a much stronger material and hopefully will not require replacing on a regular basis. I won't name the supplier but they can be be researched quite easily. I did persevere because I would have had to replace the entire bowl, cistern etc. The suppliers knew they were on to a good thing and clearly took advantage through self interest and pure greed - all for a rubber grommit.

It arrived well before the expected date, packaging was superb, no risk of damage. The product itself was perfect, fitting instructions were clear and accurate and all in all I am delighted with it, which I confess is rather sad when you think it is a toilet seat, but having experienced great difficulty in getting this from the manufacturer, who were less than helpful, and also having contacted numerous bathroom suppliers and plumbers, none of whom came back to me.
