Dear buyer Thank you for your interest in our products. The lighter holds 4 grams of kerosene. It's designed to be airtight (which makes it less volatile), and you'll need to unscrew the bottom center with the included gadget before adding oil. You can get more detailed help in the instructions.

Q: Can this work with a standard zippo insert?

The insert of this Dragon lighter is slightly different in size from the insert of ZIPPO, and it is more airtight than the INSERT of Zippo, which is not recommended. If you still want to do this, you'll need to deform the ZIPPO insert or add some small pieces of iron to get a better grip.

Q: Does this come ready to use?

Like other ZIPPO lighters, it requires kerosene to be added, and then you're ready to use it. But unlike ZIPPO, this lighter is also a craft, and it is better sealed and can last longer with a single fuel refill.
