Ilchester Cheese Advent Calendar 2024, Jacobs Cheese Biscuits and Hot Sauce - World's First Cheese Advent Calendar, 24 Individually Wrapped Cheese - Mens Advent Calendar 2024, Christmas Hamper

This is a really good idea for cheese lovers. Whilst I bought this as a gift for a friend, I had to treat myself to one - to test out of course!This has well presented packaging. There is a tear off strip at the side of the box which then opens out to reveal the 24 doors.Inside each door are individually wrapped cheese - with a cheesy joke printed on the inside of each door.The cheeses are Ilchester Cheddar: Double Gloucester: Cheddar with Caramelised Onion; Red Leicester: Vintage Cheddar; Cheddar Cheese with Apple, Onion & Sage; Red Leicester with cracked black pepper and Aged Red Leicester. There are a further 3 Applewood varieties of Cheddar; Vintage Cheddar & Mexicana Cheddar.The use by date is 15 January 2025.As an added bonus this came with a box of Jacobs favourites. Also included are 2 bottles, with a skull face, of hot sauces. I had Garlic Herb Hot Sauce and Extreme Red Hot Sauce.If I had one constructive criticism (for which I nearly deducted a star) is that the sauces could have been more on a Christmas theme with perhaps chutney or at least one milder sauce. The sauces are not for me but it's all down to a matter of taste and the variety of cheeses is the reason that I bought the advent calendar.
