The middle shelf is adjustable in height so you can configure to suit your needs and equipment.The unit elevates the TV screen to a height that is in between a wall mount and a traditional TV stand level, the screen is approximately at eye level when sat upright in a lounge chair/settee.Altogether a superb product, which I would highly recommend.
