Great purchase!

Obsessed with my pixel watch. I am a pixel phone user as well, so love that it connects with my Google fit and my Fitbit app. Lots of apps available on it, as well as phone answering and texting. Gps works great! I use it mostly to track my vitals and workouts. But my ring camera also connects to it and shows me when someone is at my door. Only negative is that the battery doesn't last long--maybe a day and a half. However, it charges quickly and I just set it on the charger while I do my makeup and get ready for my morning and it's almost fully charged by then. Lots of clock face customization too.

Great watch with pretty good battery life!

My doctor recommended an Apple watch for heart monitoring but I am in the Google realm so this was my watch of choice. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a smart watch so this one seemed reasonable for what it does.Overall, I do like the watch and wear it daily.I charge it at night and if I forget then in the morning when I get up.This tracks all kinds of stuff and is just a great way to see what I am doing activity wise. Also the heart monitor was helpful...And lastly I like that you can customize it and change the face with free / paid faces on the google store. One thing to do ASAP is switch out the band with a breathable non-silicon type of band.

Recommend!

This watch is an upgrade from any Fitbit model in my opinion. I can easily access my contacts and create a message or call someone directly from my watch if I can't get to my phone. I find the step count more accurate than Fitbit while pushing a baby stroller. It charges using a magnetic charger via Type-C and charges within about an hour. The battery doesn't last as long as I'd like but it doesn't bother me unless I forget to charge my watch in the morning. It keeps track of my heart rate and monitors for any irregular signs.Very decent way for the value!

Great watch, lousy battery

So I quickly learned after getting the watch a few days ago to go into the watch's settings, click battery, and turn on the battery saver. To have your watch come on, you gently tap the screen or press the crown button. This has greatly improved the battery life. But YOU shouldn't have to do that with a watch that costs this much.On the plus side, you can change just about every setting imaginable, and the Fitbit is a nice touch (despite most of the good features behind a subscription service). That's called Google greed. You'll get used to it. They're a monopoly for a reason. Using it to make and receive calls is awesome. Got a call the other day and was able to talk as I washed the dishes. No earbuds are required. The person who called me said the audio was great.I highly recommend this if you don't mind the craptacular battery life. I'm surprised they didn't fix it with a software update. Something is feasting on the power. Or they went with the lowest bidder for parts.Oh, if you have fat fingers or medium-sized ones, forget about the keyboard. LOL. You'll need a stylus (yes they work). The speech-to-text is very good but you have to remember to say "period" or "comma" when composing messages. If you don't, it'll be one long sentence without proper punctuation. You can even say "heart emoji" and it'll insert that. You can also go back and edit the message with your fingers and use the keyboard to correct mistakes. I'll update my review if needed and the longer I use it. Oh, the ECG works and is very cool. Even the sleep monitor caught my apnea.

Uncomfortable band / no good replacement options

I got this on a Black Friday sale and was happy with the price. I would not be happy with its normal price.PROS (WATCH):I mostly like the watch itself. The UI is comparatively intuitive. The display is bright, colorful, and readable. Its a bit big for my tastes, but that does make the display more readable for my old eyes.PROS (FITBIT):I appreciated that the watch allowed me to use the Fitbit app (where all my historical data lives). The integration seems fairly solid.CONS (WATCH):Sadly, the band pretty much ruins the watch. It is remarkably uncomfortable. I oscillate between it being too tight and too loose. It makes my wrist sweat. There is a Google-branded sports band, which is poorly reviewed, costs 1/3 as much as the watch itself, and has a plastic clasp. Seriously, how hard would it be to punch some holes in the original band so my wrist can get some air?Attaching/detaching the bands is unnecessarily difficult. Though, I do like how firm the attachment seems. The overall selection of bands is also very limited. Its just a bunch of different manufacturers peddling copies of the same style band over and over. The battery life is not impressive. Plan on charging it every morning when you wake up.CONS (FITBIT):Google would not allow me to pair both my Pixel Watch 2 and my Charge 5 with the Fitbit app. So, instead of being able to use each for what it is good at. I'm stuck trying to make one watch do everything and the other watch becomes an expensive paperweight.Since Google's acquisition of Fitbit, the quality of the Fitbit app has dropped dramatically. Meaningful colors are gone in a wash of monochrome sameness. Useful statistics are now difficult to find and require a lot of taps/swipes to reach.

Used but couldn't tell what a buy!

Like brand new, box was a little tore up but watch is flawless and was able to connect to LTE with no issues. Glad and band was clean and without scuffs or scratches. Charge last about a full day and night sleep will put it on charger for about 30 min to an hour before bed to get a 100% charge and typically will last all day long pending how many notifications I get.
