Not quite plug and play but works well after tweaks
I bought this 4G03 Pro router as a temporary workaround for problems with my wired broadband Itโs very dinky compared to a typical router but the antennae at either side are relatively large I took a working O2 MBB SIM and put it in this router but initially speeds were poor and it would regularly disconnect. I had to go into the settings and manually correct APN etc. as the auto-selected options were all wrong. I also changed it to 4G only mode which caused it to switch from band 1 to band 20, which on O2 should theoretically be better. After these tweaks speeds were a lot higher, topping out at around 20Mbits/s which is reasonable compared to what Iโve gotten from other devices in the building. I then switched over to Vodafone and it seemed to do a better job of auto-detecting settings. It has been peaking at more like 35Mbits/s which is about half of what my iPhone gets - pretty good seeing as that phone cost many times the price of this device and is supposedly Cat18. More importantly, it seems quite stable so far The firmware interface is quite basic and sometimes a bit glitchy, but it feels surprisingly snappy So I would recommend this product providing you already have some experience setting up mobile devices and arenโt expecting blazing fast speeds at this price. Obviously there are more expensive options available that should be faster

Ultimately disappointed and no use
I selected this because of the nano SIM slot for 4g, Wifi and the 2 ethernet ports, the latter allowed me to drop in line to an existing wired connection. It has a good (but limited) UI, no connection debug log and appears to be android based. However when it came to using the 3G/4G functionality it was useless for me 1) will not work with SIM from sub providers like Lebara where an MCC/MNC code is needed to work with the main provider. The UI does not support this, it is possible the tech support could provide a json file to work round this they provide an EMail for such but I didnt test 2) using a Vodafone sim self configured to an old APN and sort of worked, but if I used this profile or the one from the Vodafone website for the APN it only connected at 3G (the USB dongles I tested at the same time had no problem to get 4G using the same SIM) = slow 3) found a LycaMobile SIM (EE) worked too but was also very slow 4) it kept dropping the 3G/4G link regardless of if I set preferred or not. I may have just been unlucky with this unit but as I was disappointed and spent a day trying to make it work as expected enough was enough and gave up. Ultimately disappointed and no use

Speed depends on SIM signal, but with good 4G coverage it works well for simple WiFi use.
I bought this Tenda 4G LTE WiFi Router to use with a SIM card, and so far it has been a good simple option for home internet or backup internet. The setup was easy, just put the nano SIM in, connect the power, and the WiFi was ready without any complicated settings. The connection has been stable for normal use like browsing, WhatsApp, emails, YouTube, and general daily work. The two antennas help with the signal, and the router is small enough to keep anywhere in the house. I also like that it has a LAN/WAN port, which makes it more useful than a basic mobile hotspot. For the price, I think it is good value, but the speed will depend on the mobile network signal in your area. Overall, I am happy with it and would recommend it for simple 4G WiFi use.

Just don't update the firmware
The product worked fine, I recently updated to the latest firmware (v04.03.01.37_multi) as recommended by the router. This caused it to stop working with any SIM card. The support is brilliant, I received a prompt response and a custom firmware to resolve my issue, and the router is back up and running within a few days. Considering there was a massive time difference between myself and their support (7 hours behind them), I'm very impressed by the perseverance. As for the router's performance, once it connects it maintains a connection even if the signal is less than adequate (though naturally the speed suffers). The menu is very much bare bones, but at the same time its simplicity matches the requirement of most users at this price point. In hindsight, I would probably spend a few more quid and go for a router from TP-Link, but I can't complain about this device for its price.

Small in size, but capable of getting good running speeds
We bought this router for the caravan, or to be correct, my daughter/son-in-law's caravan, where a previously purchased router, bought elsewhere had failed miserably. Taking it out of the box, the first thing I noticed was the size, considerably small than I had expected, but yah if it works, no problem; and it does have the double antenna. I was hoping that the connection would be as described, as simple as plug in and use; I believe a few tweeks were necessary, but thankfully I wasn't the one doing this. I won't go in to details because basically what I was told made little sense to me; but I can tell you that with a little fiddling about with the setting, we were soon up and running. Now we are running the speeds are great, probably better than we expected to be honest; and the fact that it is so much smaller is a plus really in a more compact area. The signal/speed is a great improvement on what we'd been getting before, in this rather remote area. I would advise anyone buying this router to have a little knowledge of technical issues which can be solved easily if you know what you are doing; otherwise it is a great bit of kit for a very reasonable price.

Voxi/Vodafone not connecting. Without internet
Have emailed support. Will update in a week. Have a router without any internet at the moment. At best it's intermitent, it wants to connect to 3G not 4G (or higher) which feels dire in 2024. Updated firmware, restarted multiple times. Reset router. No help. Even tried putting in the APN details although the default one seemed to be okay, no help. Webpage when browsing 192.168.0.1 is dire slow. Wifi app seems to be better but connection gets dropped frequently. Sim works perfectly fine in phone. Have bought two other routers to test but i've spent several hours on this and not making progress. Having to just hotspot off phone for working from home as a temporary solution. Regret having internet connected everything when the internet goes. If you buy this then allow a week for testing for your use case or at least have a plan b!

Does not work with Vodafone SIM
I don't send many thinks back and I don't write many reviews. This item, however, is just such a frustrating piece of junk that I want to warn others not to fall for the same 'low price' trick I did. A Vodafone SIM simply does not connect and no matter how many profiles you try to create, based on support from Vodafone themselves, it simply won't connect. So it's going back.
