A Mixed Bag: Screen Protectors for Pixel 7a
As an owner of the Pixel 7a, I understand the importance of keeping the display protected from scratches and damage. With that in mind, I recently purchased a set of screen protectors for my device. While I had high hopes for their performance, I must admit that my experience has been rather disappointing. Here's my honest review of the screen protectors for the Pixel 7a.First and foremost, the installation process of these screen protectors was relatively straightforward. The package included clear instructions and all the necessary tools to ensure a bubble-free application. I appreciated the precise cutouts that aligned perfectly with the device's screen, providing a seamless fit. However, my enthusiasm quickly waned when I noticed that the screen protectors were prone to scratches. Shockingly, within the first day of use, I noticed several hairline scratches on the protector's surface, despite being cautious with my device. This significantly impacted my confidence in the product's durability and protective capabilities.Furthermore, I found the screen protectors to have an adverse effect on the overall visual experience of my Pixel 7a. The quality of the display seemed slightly diminished, resulting in a slight decrease in screen clarity and brightness. While this may not be a dealbreaker for some, it was certainly disappointing for me, as I value the Pixel 7a's vibrant and sharp display. On the positive side, the screen protectors did manage to provide a decent level of resistance against fingerprints and smudges. They effectively minimized the accumulation of oils and dirt on the screen, allowing for easier cleaning and maintenance. In terms of touch sensitivity, I did not notice any significant issues. The screen protectors did not hinder the responsiveness or accuracy of the device's touch controls, which is essential for seamless interaction with the Pixel 7a.In summary, while these screen protectors for the Pixel 7a had a promising start with their easy installation and reasonable touch sensitivity, they fell short in terms of scratch resistance and impact on display quality. Their susceptibility to scratches, particularly on the first day of use, was a major drawback for me. If you prioritize a scratch-free display and uncompromised visual experience, I would recommend exploring alternative options for screen protection.Pros:1. Easy installation process with precise cutouts.2. Provides resistance against fingerprints and smudges.3. Does not significantly affect touch sensitivity.Cons:1. Prone to scratches, even with careful use.2. Diminishes screen clarity and brightness.3. Lack of long-term durability. In conclusion, while these screen protectors offer some benefits such as fingerprint resistance and ease of installation, their lack of scratch resistance and impact on display quality make them a less desirable choice. It is essential to carefully consider your priorities before investing in screen protectors for your Pixel 7a, and exploring other options might be worthwhile.

Easy application and no bubbles!
I felt compelled to write this review. Screen protector is easy to install. Just be sure to clean the screen well and have it free of dust. Alignment tool works perfect. I have OCD when it comes to screen protectors. These worked perfectly and adhered perfectly. There were a few small bubbles after applying (like most protectors) but they were gone within a few hrs. I did not use the camera protectors as they can distort images according to the interwebs (not from personal use/experience). But the screen protector worked perfectly. If you're here reading don't hesitate...OCD approved!

Solid Protection with Bonus Camera Coverage
The OMOTON [3+3 Pack for Pixel 8 Pro Screen Protector] offers a budget-friendly option for safeguarding your Pixel 8 Pro's precious display. Packed with six tempered glass shields (three for the screen and three for the camera lens), it delivers solid protection while throwing in some extra value. Here's a closer look at its pros and cons:Pros:Excellent value: Six protectors for the price of one is hard to beat! You get ample replacements in case of accidental drops or scratches.9H hardness: The tempered glass boasts a 9H hardness rating, effectively shielding your screen and camera lens from everyday wear and tear, including keys, coins, and even pocket knives.Clear and responsive: The protector maintains the Pixel 8 Pro's vibrant display and smooth touchscreen experience. You won't notice any significant reduction in clarity or responsiveness.Easy installation: OMOTON includes an alignment frame for hassle-free application. Most users report a bubble-free experience.Camera lens protection: The bonus camera lens protectors are a welcome addition, providing extra peace of mind against scratches and fingerprints.Cons:Thicker than some: This protector adds a slight noticeable bulk to the Pixel 8 Pro compared to some thinner options.Case compatibility: Some thicker cases might not fit well with this protector due to its slightly raised edges. It's best to check compatibility before purchasing.Fingerprint sensor: Some users report minor issues with the in-screen fingerprint sensor working flawlessly through the protector. Adjusting the sensitivity settings on your phone might help.Overall:The OMOTON [3+3 Pack for Pixel 8 Pro Screen Protector] is a budget-friendly option that delivers solid protection for your Pixel 8 Pro's screen and camera lens. While it might add a touch of bulk and potentially affect the fingerprint sensor slightly, the sheer value-for-money and excellent scratch resistance make it a compelling choice for those looking for practical protection without breaking the bank.Recommendation:If you're on a budget and prioritize basic screen and camera protection, the OMOTON protector is a good option. However, if you prefer a thinner profile or seamless fingerprint sensor compatibility, consider exploring other brands or models.

Very pleased
Much easier to apply than I expected. The alignment frame works perfectly. I got one tiny bubble on the edge because a speck of dust got trapped in there, but it's not noticeable unless the screen is off. The fingerprint sensor doesn't work quite as well, but it does work, and it is already pretty lousy out of the box (compared to the old sensor on the back of the phone) so it's not a big deal. I am not using screen protector mode because the default sensitivity is a little too high for my taste and having this protector on actually makes it more usable for me. The edges are also slightly rounded so your thumb doesn't get caught on them. Overall great product for the price.

Easy to install, not 100% sure about the finger print, thick lens cover
This was the easiest screen protector I've ever installed. Perhaps it's because I used those latex medical gloves to not get finger prints on, and the pixel 8 pro is the first non-curved edge screen ive had in a decade. Not a lot of instructions. But I just used the alignment tool, lined up the front camera hole, put it on and then put some pressure in the centre and slide my thumbs outward. Then pushed the air bubbles to the edge and held for a couple seconds to make sure they stayed off, if they didnt i'd push them a bit further up the screen or to a different edge and hold for a few seconds and I got the first ever screen protector I did without a single bubble, and that was 3 weeks ago and none have come back. However, the fingerprint reader is temperamental. I registered the prints after installation, yet if my hands are the slightest bit too dry or moisturized, or just 1 in 5 times I try to unlock it, they just wont work no matter how many times I try, and I end up having to enter the passcode or use face unlock. I also notice typing sometimes isn't 100% accurate to where i touch, but it could be the google keyboard. Also I put the protector on the phone right out of its box, so I never actually tried the pro 8 finger print reader or typing without the screen protector, so theres a chance it's googles problem. The camera lens protector is quite thick -- probably twice as thick as the screen protector. This could cause interference with some cases. However, I bought the "Spigen Rugged Armor" for 16.99 and it accommodates both these screen and camera protectors.
