Superb quality and excellent install options
I just got a new 43” LG TV for my bedroom and wanted a mount which would allow me to fit the TV in the corner. This TV mount by Cattail is exactly what I needed. It has enough extending reach, it moves left to right, swivels with good range and enables the TV to be tilted as well. The mount supports multiple VESA configurations from 75mm to 400mm in different configurations. There are many holes on the mount bracket and the extend arms to support almost any TV to be attached. Although it says that the max size is 60”, this is due to the swivel range being limited if the TV is larger. But if not much swiveling is required, a larger TV could be hung as well. Most TV’s nowadays are fairly lightweight and this mount can surely hold up. The build quality is superb. It has strong weld and feels extremely heavy duty. It is advertised to support up to 132 lbs of weight. My 43” LG TV only weighs 19 lbs. and has no straining effect on the mount. It turns and swivels with ease. There is absolutely no visible stress or bending. The entire mount is made of strong metal painted black. There are plastic covers provided for esthetics and cable management – they easily clip on. Everything is well made.Installation is easy for those who’ve used a drill before. I found the stud in the wall and proceeded with the install. I have an older house and my walls are made of plaster, so I chose to pre-cut and fit a wood panel between the mount and the wall – see pics. However that is not necessary. Because of that added thickness, I needed longer screws which I got at my local hardware store. Various (all black) bolts, screws and washers are provided in the packaging for installation, including the ones that are needed to fit in the back of various VESA TVs.What I like about this mount is that all the holes are slightly larger than the screws / bolts so small adjustments can be made to hang the TV straight. Although, I would recommend installing the mount with a proper level. Mistakes can be made and things shift so being able to make precise adjustments afterwards is helpful. The bracket that attaches to the wall has 7 holes for strong screws that go in the wall. A stud is recommended but not required if multiple wall anchors are used. Those are usually rated to hold around 20lbs each and there are 6 included. They are only used where there is no wood stud present in the wall. Otherwise if a stud is available, then no anchors are needed.Overall, I am very happy with this mount. It looks good, well built and feels heavy duty. The cable management / aesthetics covers are nice to have as well as the included HDMI cable.

Great mount but had to buy different screws for back of the tv
I like this tv mount. It has a nice heavy and sturdy build. I was able to loosen the bolts so the actuating part can flow more smoothly. The only down side was with my 50 in Samsung 4KTV (UN50MU6070FXZA), the screws that came with the mount that goes into the back of the TV were too short. I made a trip to my local Ace and was able to get the correct size. and after that everything else was smooth sailing! Pretty good product!

Reticulating....... I like that....
The screws that came with the product were not long enough and did not bite into the screw holes in the back of the TV. I had to go to Home Depot or local hardware store with a nut and bolt section to explain my dilemma. Store clerk helpful.I have to figure out a way to loosen up the stiffness of the reticulating arms. I find when I pull on the TV there is resistance so if I pull harder, I am adding undue uneven tension of the TV set itself causing the TV to bend which is was not designed to do. Which should not be so. Maybe I can loosen up the arms on the product or give it some oil to give me some easier pull. I have not figured this out yet so for now I have to be careful not to pull too hard on the TV set itself. The TV pulls out from the wall and it can swing / turn side to side so I can view it from the side. What it does not do is reticulate up and down.I'd like for it to reticulate down as I mounted the product a bit high on the wall.I have to reticulate my neck upward a bit too much.My carpenter friend mounted it for me.He was none too happy with me when I asked him to lower it on the wall....He refused and told me to get used to it.If I recline on the couch, I can easily view it.Over I am happy with the purchase and would recommend.

Half the Parts Missing
Amazon is sending me a new one. There was absolutely NO hardware in the box, and the extensions to size it to the tv were not in the box, and the HDMI cable was not in the box! And finally, there were no instructions in the box! I'm confident that once I have the hardware I'll be able to mount it onto the wall, but I need to know how to get the tv onto the base! What do I have to do- hold a 55" tv up onto the bracket and try to screw it in at the same time? Other tv mounts we have in other rooms you put the base on the wall, put the other parts into the tv and lift the tv up and slide it down on which is fairly simple, but it doesn't appear that easy with this? I will update my review when the replacement one comes as long as the parts and instructions all come with it!

Very easy to install, solid material
Very easy to install, solid material, putting the TV on a mount saves a lot of space in my bedroom, I have removed the TV table and I am so happy that I have more space in my bedroom. The mount is articulating very easy and give you the option to change the angle where you watching TV

Makes a great look
Easy to install & mount. Of course I didn't do it but 1 of the maintenance guys did. It's also a great look. When my daughter walked in the house she said, "Umi the tv looks so nice up there, looks like a totally different place!"
