The media could not be loaded.  This has the potential to be a great game, but there are a few issues with it - it was however only tested inside and I think it might be better if the mat was pegged out on grass.The mat is difficult to flatten due to folds, but am sure that this will be sorted out long term.You must chip the ball onto the mat so it lands and then rolls, if you hit them along the ground they roll over the mat and aren't very good at stopping. If the balls were fully covered with velcro that would potentially be better.I have no idea if it would be better outside on grass - possibly that would solve the non-sticky-velcroy issue.

This is sooooo much fun if you like golf, great to play with friends at bbq’s or on your own to improve your game.The down side is it doesn’t come with any sort of club so you do need your own.Even. So it is so much fun.

Although the item is advertised as a golf practice mat, I would take this more as a game mat. This is a great option for anyone looking for a fun-filled team game and has some larger space to move around. I loved the fact that the small box comes with loads of accessories to have a full golf experience. The main item in the box is the mat, made of fabric. It has a good enough size of 6X4 sq ft to accommodate different elements of the golf game. the fabric quality is very good, and it comes with a bright print of gold course on one side. The gold course print has all the components of a real golf course, such as greenery and targets. The mat can be hooked in place on the ground with black colour 6 ground stakes. There is also a scorecard and artificial grass mat to choose the starting point. The mat comes with so many balls which are perfectly made for the mat. These balls have velcros around which makes them stick on the mat when they fall on it. The set comes with a carry bag, too, indeed a bonus.As the mat is made of fabric, it doesn't remain completely flat and always has some wrinkles. However, I am able to reduce the wrinkles to a great extent with stakes and to provide the right amount of tension on all sides. The set doesn't come with any practice clubs, and I need to source it from somewhere else. Overall, it is a good value golf game for fun gatherings.

The family have been having great fun with this chipping game mat since it arrived.Note no golf clubs are included, so you need some of your own (proper ones or plastic toy ones would be fine too).The mat works really well laid flat on the floor or hung up so that it hangs vertically.The balls have velcro (RTM) strips around them so that they stick to the mat - it's an instant stick when the mat is vertical and it sticks when horizontal depending on the speed of the ball.There's plenty of different game styles you can use to keep the game fresh.As per the picture the mat has scoring areas, so you can have a score based game or you can aim for the hole/flag or bunker or whatever and do it individually or in teams.There's even a wipeable scoreboard included (and pen) and pegs to hold it down flat on grass.There's also a piece of fake turf from which to do the chips/putts to protect the grass or carpet or whatever you are playing on.You also get a (pretty cheap) carry bag to store it all in which is a bonus for when you've chucked the box away.All in all there's nothing to complain about with this - we've had great fun, so far using it indoors and looking forward to getting out and using in the garden when it's dried up a bit.There are lots of variations of this set, including cheaper options, available e.g. without the chipping turf piece, without the scoreboard etc but we're certainly getting our money's worth out of this set.It's 5 stars from me.

My review is based around the current selling price of £40.99Summary:A practice mat suggests a mat for getting better at something. This mat will NOT help you get better at mainstream golf, regardless of whether you use your own clubs (which you need to). The similarities between playing on this and for real are very limited. The texture of the mat is nothing like real grass, the golf balls have Velcro, and the mat has creases. This pitching/wedge golf game was a hit. All the kids loved throwing the balls and having them stick and the adults (who golf) really enjoyed testing their golf skills. It came with everything you needed to either hang it, lay it flat on the ground, or secure it outside to the ground. Overall good quality and works as expected. Fun for all ages and lots of family fun.

We were holding our own Carnival foe our school and needed to find fun activities. I saw this gold chip set and thought it would be a lot of fun and work.Comes with carry bag.Can use the mat on ground inside or out or even put on the wall.Comes with many different color light balls which stick to the pad.Also has 1 small green grass and reusable score card.Set up was easy. Now the balls don't always stick and can roll off sometimes. But that was expected.It doesnt come with any clubs which is a downside as using regular clubs would be hard on the plastic balls. Had to find one online which was extendable so could adjust length to different childs size.I knew it would be hard for them to chip it off the grass included so found online plastic tees that will sit on it since we were using inside as traditional wooden tees couldnt be used.It was a great hit and the students loved it and wanted to keep playing. Well worth it.
