I loathe the taste and smell of fish, I would not even give tuna etc. to my cat. The only kind of fish that I like is fresh flounder or fresh cod because they have almost no taste at all. Me having ultra taste buds I usually can not stand cod liver oil but Carlson Lemon Flavor Cod Liver Oil is such a high quality that there is almost no smell or taste at all. In fact the only thing that I notice is the oily coating in my mouth afterwards as if I just had a spoon of salad oil. As for any fish burps that I might have during the day, they are flavorless except if you take it late late at night. I've been taking this brand for since 2005 so I no longer notice the lemon flavor much but I'm not willing to take a chance on the non lemon flavor. Why mess with a good thing. If you like super strong lemony flavor like I sometimes do just finely crush a packet of True Lemon (the original) using a rolling pin or a can of soup etc. to crush it in its packet then funnel it into the bottle, shake well and let it sit in the fridge over night, then shake again and take a spoonful.

This is a supplement product I have used for years. It benefits heart, skin and for me better bowel elimination. How do I make these claims, well when I dont use it I see the difference. You have to pay attention to what you body needs and uses. If you dont, you will pay, believe me.

Used based on my functional medicine doctor’s recommendation. It is the only brand that does not have too much vitamin A.

I love this product. The lemon flavor makes it taste good and not like the cod liver oil from my childhood. I use it for joint release and stiffness. When I take it consistently, I feel much better.

This is hands down better than seven seas cod liver oil, but for the price it had better be...so far its nice... as far as fish oil goes.... lemon flavor is a palatable plus....

This cod liver oil is so easy to take with great benefits. My Mom had macular degeneration and my optometrist started me on it as studies show it helps delaying any symptoms.

I have always believed in the benefits of cod liver oil and this product is the best, in consistency and taste. Even got a free gift this time. Nothing wrong in that.

Taste isn't as good as some I've used in the past, or perhaps I just don't remember accurately, it's been a few years. But still better than non-flavored.
