Day Of The Dead (Dia De Los Muertos) Hot Sauce

I was seriously disappointed with this sauce, it has quite a decent flavour with a subtle fruit & vinegary tang but it has little to no heat for anyone who likes hot stuff.With an ( alleged ) heat level of 8 I was expecting more than just a run of the mill buzz, the upside is that it goes great with scrambled eggs for breakfast with some nice hot buttered toast.If you want heat there are countless other sauces out there that deliver what you want.

This is an ideal sauce if you're wanting a lot more kick from your sauce than the usual tabasco! It's got good heat but wont cause any lasting damage (usually a glug of milk wil put out the fire!) I'd recommend it to folk who want to buy their first proper hot sauce, and want to build up their tolerance to spicy food. ie- Man up! You will need to build up an asbestos mouth before taking on some of the harder ghost/naga chili sauces, so this is a good place to start! It's got an awesome keyring attached, so you may be tempted to hold off opening it as it looks pretty cool, but dont. Flaming mouths await, with a slight smoky sweetness and a limey tequila finish! Get stuck in and enjoy.
