This camera doesn't have WiFi, my bad. I also have the CS06 from this same seller, and it has WiFI, and it turns out to be quite he handy feature.To start with, the H82 is lightweight, and has a sleek looking design. It has a detachable clip, with 2 positions of height, and it can be switched to front or back. And it is equipped with a female tripod mount. And it can basically be used for a vacation camera if you want.The camera lens can be pointed to either side of the camera or to the top, and any angle in between its 180 degree range of movement. And when you flip the lens from back to front, you don't have to push a button to flip the image, it does it automatically. (front being the screen side) A BIG PLUS.This is also one of the few body cams that allows you to take videos in up to 20 minute loops. Most other body-cams in this price range limit the loops to 10 minutes max, with no way to override that function. On this camera you can override the loop function. I am not sure exactly how long it can record non-stop when not in the loop mode, but I think it is still 20 minutes, but stops after that.As you've already discovered from many other 'made in China' products on Amazon, (and everywhere else) the instruction manual is pretty much bare bones. Some of the buttons are dual function, so you will have to play around with the camera a bit to figure out some of the functions and how to get in and out of them. I will give you a few pointers along the way here when I can.There is a menu, and for some reason it is on the left below the screen, not in the center, and marked with an 'M'. Press it once to get into the menu, and press the 'video camera' icon button on the left side just below the on/off button, 1 time to get out of it. Whence inside the menu feature, the choices are pretty much intuitive. Choose a function with the center button, scroll up or down with the buttons on either side of it, and choose again to get out of that function.The picture quality is very good. I would like to download some video samples for you to view for yourself. But for some reason, even the shortest video clips take an ungodly amount of time to upload to the Amazon reviews. But I can load still images pretty fast, and I will include a few of those samples.This camera has an IR Night Mode, it is in black and white like most of these cameras. But you can choose the manual or automatic option in the menu. So if you're in a situation where you are moving in and out of good lighting one minute and darkness the next, you don't have to reset the camera each and every time. A very big plus for security personnel who work at night and are patrolling in situations where the lighting changes intermittently. And this function resets to off every time the camera is turned off.And even when not in the 'night mode', this camera really does pretty well in low light with a fairly clear, color image. But for real darkness, with little to no light, the IR manual night mode is the better choice.So far it seems I can get a good 6 hours of recording time, depending on the other functions I choose.As far as the motion detection goes, when it is triggered it seems to record for about 20 seconds, or as long as there is motion in front of the camera. I don't know exactly how far it can detect motion, but I have triggered it from 10 feet away, it is probably more than that.For this price this seller tosses in a squiggly tripod, a low end 2.0 card reader, and a 128g micro SD card.You can not review your videos on the camera, but you can hook it up directly to your computer via a USB A to C connection, from there you can edit them.I think that's about it for now. I give this 5 stars overall, and would definitely purchase it again.If you don't need the WiFi, and you're looking for a good body-cam for a low price, this is the ticket.I do believe that body cams will be the next big thing in electronics, as the quality improves and the price goes down. And I think that half the population will be wearing them within about 10 years. Because, if you find yourself in a situation where you need some big time CYA, this is the way to go. Because people sometimes lie and 'bear false witness". And all of earth's creatures use some kind of deception for survival. However Chameleons don't change to get your money, but unfortunately humans do.In these days of brick n' mortar retailers choosing not to carry many items I find on Amazon, I must rely on the reviews of others to guide me. And I thoroughly read them for most of my purchases. And false testimonials have been around since before recorded history. I write fair and honest product reviews based on my own experiences and needs. So my needs might not be the same as yours.I often contact sellers before I purchase a product, and the faster they respond, the more likely I am to trust them. This seller responded to my issues within 24 hours, and was very helpful with this camera and the CS06 I purchased as well. Small size, very easy to use. Push a button it's on, push a button, it's recording, simple as that. As you can see the quality of the picture is amazing. Very light weight and it comes with a clip to clip to your collar. It also comes with a neck lanyard to go hands free and record your adventures. I ordered it with 128 gb, so recorded for a long period is no trouble either. Be aware that there is no motion stabilization for the camera, so when you move, the camera moves with your movement making the picture not stable. All in all, it's very nice camera and the quality of the picture is amazing. The battery would run out before the memory card would.

The video quality is good, it is compact, and it is lightweight. It comes with enough accessories and has good quality and I enjoy the night vision and motion detection. However, the product screen will sometimes freeze not responding to buttons, requiring me to wait until the battery drains. The mic quality isn’t the greatest either.

Bought 2 and pleasantly surprised.Well worth the money.I purchased them after reading positive reviews stating they were backed by good customer service and tech support.They have always returned my communications in a professional time frame and supplied adequate information to get them up and running.The one year warranty is another plus.I would recommend.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I only finally started using this camera at the end of April. I immediately had a problem with it because I could not power it off after it got stuck fast-forwarding. To leave it on for a whole day till the power died to get it to reset because you can't remove the battery. The next issue is that the SD card is very difficult to put in and take out and I only took it out once successfully the very second time I tried was today and the card went in and it was crooked but there's no way to get it out and then it just vanished it's in the thing but I don't know where it went something has been wrong with it I guess or either it's just poorly designed I would not buy this camera

Took really great for videos was very pleased. Clear precise and a long distance it took a long distance of videos when I walked down the street. But it just after the try to use the videos it ate up the SIM card I went to put it in and it kept going in and it wouldn't come out so I had to send it back

The media could not be loaded. This body camera is amazing. The sound quality is great. I love how you can watch the video rewind it from the camera so you don’t have to download it on the computer if there was an incident.I’ve watch it from the computer to see how well it come out. 5 stars rating! Comes out amazing. Especially night vision comes out very amazing.Motion detection amazing when someone walks by your camera. It will record up to two minutes. If no motion is detected, it will go back to saving mode.You can have the screen light on or off while it’s being recorded. I prefer having it off.I definitely recommend giving this a try. If your person that’s always out and about whether it’s doing Uber eats going through a rough neighborhood or just to document beautiful moments,I mainly bought t this for my electric bike when I am riding because things can happen along the way eventually and I follow all traffic law and I don’t need an incident that involves. He says she says so I have a second eye which is this camera.I’m pretty good at coming back to write a second review if anything goes wrong. So I guess I will see what happens in a few weeks to a couple of months.

This little body camera is great! It is easy to use and takes great quality little video clips that are of great quality at closer distances and even does a pretty good job catching things at shorter distances away (like across the street). It is exactly what you want to catch problems up close that you don't expect. I think the 4k is well worth the $$$ over the 1080P version.
