I should have bought this a while ago. Shaves well and doesn’t require charging often

Very pleased with my purchase of Philips Electric shaver, I upgraded my old one and always go for a Philips good make good performance.

Now I'm getting a bit lazy in my old age, or perhaps tired by the demands of my "new" fixer-upper home, so I often go a few days without a shave. I know they say new brush sweeps clean, but this Philips shaver is everything I'd hope for from a leading brand. So even long stubble is crisply mown through, though needing a few passes, but the final result rivals a wet shave without the bleeding. Not bad. There are some cheap rivals on the market with glowing reports but I can't believe they would match the durability of the pricier leading makes.

Good easy to hold and move around your face without nipping your skin . For best results use shaving soap and brush for a really close shave.

I’m trying to start shaving every day as I find after a few days my beard is really tough to get through. I considered getting replacement blades but the originals are so expensive it’s almost as cheap to buy a new razor and this one was less than £50 so I took a punt. I imagine this one will be smoother using it with water and soap/foam but for now it does a good enough job dry…

I’ve waited to do a long term review of this razor. In fact I wish I hadn’t bothered. It works, but takes a long time to get a decent shave. It doesn’t seem to be cutting well even on the smoother parts of my face. It looks good and hold charge well, but generally a bit of a let down compared to my last one.

Love this Philips shaver, I was initially wondering how the rechargeable battery would last, but having used twice a day for two week, and just indicating it requires a charge. Thats fine.Easy to clean, and to handle. Well done Philips. Thank you.

A replacement for a SweetLF razor. Robust plastic construction with a solid feel. Charging took a few hours possibly because of the cable configuration and battery life (dependent on use) appears to be about 6 weeks. It comes with a standard USB to twin cable, USB C may have been a faster charge, but this does the job. The large collection areas behind the blades are easy to clean, but it does not come with a brush or travel bag. In hot weather when using sun cream clean the blades more often, to prevent them clogging. The motor sounds like it's using a lot of effort, but the cut is smooth and comfortable, and the trimmer built into the handle is wide and easy to use.
