Mozaic Futon Mattress, Full, Burgundy

The last time I needed a futon mattress I drove all over town and after comparing comfort and costs, I made my purchase.This time, I don't know what made me think of Amazon for a mattress but I got on line and in 5 minutes I found exactly what I wanted.The fabric is of good quality, thick enough to be sturdy but soft enough to be comfortable. The thickness of the mattress is perfect.I have fibromyalgia and can usually feel the rails that support the mattress, not with this mattress. Yet it is not so thick that it does not fit right on the frame.I am very happy with my purchase.

Very nice and thick ,lovely color, definitely as advertised. There’s a typical warehouse sell to it ,but went away after it aired out a bit. Your definitely going to want more than one person at home when it’s delivered it’s quite heavy to get up a flight of stairs alone.

The warehouse smell cleared away much quicker than the smaller twin one I previously got. There was quite a few loose burgundy threads around the edge to snip, and like the twin-sized one, the white tuft threads look a bit flimsy, but after wrestling it into a machine washable cover, it's quite comfortable and there's no overt durability issues.

I would have given it 5 stars but when I unpacked the item I was upset to see that the "tufted" areas on the mattress were done in a cream colored heavy thread/cord & didn't even match the "burgundy" color that I had ordered. If the tufted areas (which is why I ordered this one...it looked so nice in the pics & not plain) had been done in at least matching thread I would have been much happier. However, using a cream color was disappointing & left the mattress looking a bit cheap. Also, there are many long & loose threads at the seams. I'm afraid to cut them off not knowing if the seam would then unravel. On the plus side...it is very comfortable, thick & "cushie" to sit on. I'm not sure how long it will take for it to flatten down with regular use. I however, got it for occasional usage. For a few extra dollars I will probably go over the tufted places with a matching thread or sew on some decorative buttons. I can't stress enough how much this cheapened the look of this item. If it had not been for that I would have given it 5 stars easily. The material it's self is soft but heavy & seems to be very durable.I wanted to update. I have slept on this a couple of times now & it is very comfortable. Still it does not get used every day (it is in a guest room). I also wanted to address the "smell" some people are talking about.....straight out of the box there was NO smell. Maybe a "new" smell for a day or two but not a chemical or bad smell.

It ‘s ok.... for the cats. It does not spring back at all when they leave their spots.Therefore mattress is lumpy with hollows all over and I can’t imagine how a person could sleep on it more than once. A waste of money. And it still has an odor after 5 weeks but is finally dissipating.

At first, this mattress was comfortable enough, after letting it sit for roughly 48 hours it never puffed up to the degree that the Amazon pictures did, but regardless it was comfortable. That is, until it started flattening only less than a month into using it. And when I say flattening I don't mean just flattening after use and then puffing back up over time, no it's permanently flattened in the middle. This mattress gets daily use so I expected it to flatten faster, but not within a month. Get a higher quality mattress from a different brand.

Very comfortable bought this as a replacement mattress for an old futon and we do not regret this purchase

The mattress is as advertised, but my son doesn't like it as much as his old, much thinner mattress because the fabric isn't as soft. Good product overall. We use sheets on it, so that doesn't really matter anyway unless the sheets come off.Update: Had family over recently to spend the night. My 6'4" brother-in-law and 5'10" sister slept on the futon and said it was very comfortable. The fabric also seems to have softened up.
