He's being home-schooled this year, and for English, we have him working his way through several of these (he just finished this one, and is now on #5). That's the third one, and he isn't tired of them yet---that certainly speaks for itself. They're scholarly enough for the kids to really learn something, and yet entertaining enough not to bore them to death. Great combination.

Unfortunately, this book does NOT include any answer key. Hence, it is not a good choice for homeschool parents (in my opinion). I called the company and they want $35 for a teacher edition, which seems to be the only way to get an answer key. Wish I had known that before purchasing.

It came on time and it is really useful! I like this book.
