Lucky-Kitty Car Drinking Fountain Ceramic White

I initially really liked this fountain. I'd read that the tube was tricky to connect but ignored that and bought it anyway. My cat liked it so it did the job but cleaning really is a pain. The filter is great as it is just to catch cat hair and other junk rather than filter the water so it can just be rinsed out. The two ceramic parts although very heavy, are easy to put in the dishwasher too which removes the limescale mark. It is the tubing that gets gunged up and needs careful cleaning with a thin brush. The pump also needs taking apart and and a few little bits from it cleaning. I started out putting them in the dishwasher too but ended up having to buy an ultrasonic cleaner to get them truly clean. Then, putting it back together is the worst thing. The tubing kinks very easily and the top is so heavy to hold whilst trying to ensure the tube stays kink free. It is so fiddly that I have abandoned use of it completely. It will now end up on an auction site and I am researching for a replacement. I did buy this from Amazon but quite a long time ago now. It's only been this hot weather that has made me worry about my cat drinking again.

I was really looking forward to giving this a go... but no UK plug supplied. :(
