Great that you can cut it to size to fit the sink. We had the same liner in grey for years, but have taken a point off this one as it stains quite easily and needs a regular bleach to keep it looking good.

I've used this mat for over a year and found it to be very effective for protecting our very expensive sink, a bit discoloured now but excellent product.

Does the job but stains really quickly and despite scrubbing and bleaching it's impossible to get it back to looking clear.

Agree with other one-star reviewers. Only need to show it cooked tomato and it permanently stains. Neither dishwasher nor bleach will remove it. Design is poor - traps food, leaves a pattern on the sink and splashes 90% of tap water back upwads. Total waste o fmoney - not fit for purpose.

I wanted it for a Belfast ceramic sink to protect crockery from breaking and it does exactly that. 👍 the size is good and it’s easy to wash. Dont leave strong colours on it like tomatoes or cumin as the plastic will absorb some of the colour

This is one of the largest ready cut sink liners I could find (just about large enough to fit our larger-than-average sink). It is made of clear plastic and is fairly soft and flexible so provides decent protection to stop a stainless steel sink from getting scratched. On one side of the mat there are slightly protruding crosses where the segments of the mat join: the other side is smooth. I found it important to make sure the smooth side was down on the sink surface, otherwise the crosses may themselves cause scratches. The design of the mat makes it a little tricky to clean if bits of food get caught in the segments, but generally a rinse under the tap is all that is required. I can't tell yet how the plastic will age - in particular whether it will go yellow over time, but it is doing the job I asked of it, and is sufficiently cheap that it could be replaced in a year or so if necessary.
