8" X 6" Duct Reducer & Increaser Non-Crimped Single Wall Galvanized Sheet Metal ducting Connector for Airflow, Heating, Cooling, & air Ventilation Systems Fittings

I needed an adaptor to connect the 6” opening on the range hood duct to the 8” opening on the exhaust duct coming down from the ceiling. I couldn’t find it at either of the ‘big box’ stores in store or online. I found it on Amazon with quick delivery at a great price and it met our needs perfectly! We wouldn’t have been able to proceed with the kitchen remodel without it.

We needed to size down from a vent-a-hood to the existing ductwork. This worked perfectly. It was a bit pricey, butthe hardware stores didn't have them in stocks and we needed it quickly.

Arrived without issues. For tight seal you may need to tape the riveted seams...

Great fit as a reducer for my stove top range hood exhaust.

these are great made reducers, but they are slightly larger on the diameters, for my 8" reflector they are about 1/8 - 1/4 bigger so you need to get good sized clamps, on the 6" size my ducting went on real snug didn't even need to use a clamp but did anyway. In a 4x4 grow tent with one on each side you are literally up against the walls, so if ya have a small tent then try to get a smaller reflector without having to use these, but for a big tent these are great.
