Catches roaches
I have seen roach parts in the kitchen (where my cat left them) and found roaches in the bathroom, so I placed one in the kitchen and one in the bathroom. The smell of them is rather odd, and does not attract roaches from a distance. I have not caught any roaches in the kitchen and in the bathroom, I have only caught two roaches when I placed the trap near them as they were running around. Our house is not infested, but roaches sometimes come in the door or come up through the drain. Using the trap beats trying to catch and kill roaches, but is still more hands-on than I care for.

A safe method of dealing with pests.
I bought a quantity of these (2 cartons, 48 traps), simply as a matter of making my point in a somewhat acrimonious discussion about the excessive and indiscriminate use of insecticide. Having made my point, I actually gave the traps to the opposing party. Carrot and stick. However, I actually used the things when I lived in an urban slum apartment, with holes in the wall, thirty years ago. You have to use a lot of them, say, three to the room, but they get results, and they can’t poison you, or your pets. They are of good solid construction.

They definitely don’t check out
Works the best! Unfortunate for other bugs when they get trapped. We get garage roaches because we re-bark every season. We live in an area I call “bark town.” The roaches are in the bark. I couple snuck into our house, yuk. What I like best is that you can’t get your fingers into the sticky surface and when you’re done with it, just flatten it and throw away. I really am a compassionate person and hate glue traps but chemicals are a no-go for me, as are roaches crawling into the house. If they’d just stay outside, that would be great. We have the German cockroaches and Turkistan. We bought the bulk pack because $5.00 for 2-pk is a ripoff. But they do check in and don’t check out. Doesn’t work on ants. They don’t have enough surface feet to stick, lol. But when I put the trap out on the counter they scattered like crazy and didn’t come back. Still trying to solve that mystery. I’d highly recommend.

"Relax", said the nightman...
These things are amazing! The first one I took out of the wrapper I left it on top of the kitchen counter. I was going to put it under the sink but forgot. When I came back to it a few hours later, the entire bottom part was full of roaches! I turned it over and set it by the stove, and the next morning, it was full. I set them up where I had been seeing roaches, and now I don't see them anymore (well, alive,anyways).PROS:1. EXTREMELY EFFECTIVE. Roaches cannot resist them.2. Nontoxic. It uses an attractant that smells like molasses, that is surrounded by very sticky adhesive. No poison needed.3. Enclosed design. Roaches love creeping around dark, tight spaces, what could be more inviting? Plus, you don't have to worry about seeing all them dead critters, or worry that your child (two legged or four legged) will get stuck on that mess.4. You see them dead. A lot of products advertise that they "take the bait and go die somewhere else". That's all good and well, but I want proof. (BTW I also set up Roach Max bait that "kills the nest") One more thing I did was throw some 20 mule team borax in cabinets where my dog can't get to. Lots of dead carcasses found in that powder.5. You can manually kill them. If I see one crawling up the wall, I will trap it and it will run into the trap and get caught. You don't get your hands dirty, no clean up.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.COINS: None
