Two of the three flavors are great
I think some of these reviewers got this product for free or heavily discounted... hmm. I didn't. I paid full price (forty bucks) for it. These are my honest thoughts, not influenced by a discount. I purchased the variety pack with four units of each flavor.First, I am in my early 30s and have been vegan for more than a decade; I eat a whole-foods diet and am physically active (20,000+ steps per day, workouts with cardio and weights 3-4 times per week, etc.). I have done green smoothies for years and have tried many brands of meal-replacement drinks/shakes requiring a blender bottle. I offer these details about myself because YMMV.OVERALL THOUGHTSI mixed each of these packets with 12-16 oz of water in my existing collection of blender bottles. All three flavors have an excellent nutritional profile and kept me full for about three hours because of the high protein and fiber content. I love the Rich Mocha and PB & Banana flavors and will continue to buy those; they both mix well with chilled and room-temp water and have a great flavor either way. However, I don’t care for the Super Greens flavor, and I already use another “raw green superfood” powder (different brand) for my smoothies, so will pass on Super Greens going forward.CONSISTENCYThese shakes aren't chalky, but they do have "sediment" particles. You absolutely need a blender bottle (or an actual blender) for these shakes, and you need to spend at least 60 seconds really shaking the bottle before your first sip. And then you need to periodically re-shake your bottle (as each package states) because the particles will start settling on the bottom almost immediately.REVIEW OF EACH FLAVOR** Rich Mocha | Rating: 8/10 **Really nice, very pleasant, not overly sweet. You can taste both the chocolate and the coffee. This one contains caffeine, so it’s definitely a pick-me-up. I felt awesome, very upbeat and ready to conquer the day, after drinking this packet. Although this was the most "sediment"-heavy shake of the bunch (minus two points), I was able to mostly overlook that because the flavor is so delish.** PB & Banana | Rating: 9/10 **This is easily the most approachable flavor of the bunch. Very pleasant, easy to drink. Although it has a pretty overpowering banana scent when you first open the packet, the flavor of the actual shake is much more balanced, and you can definitely taste the peanut butter. This would be a great flavor for kids and adults alike. Still some sediment particles (minus one star), but fewer than in Rich Mocha.** Super Greens | Rating: 6/10 **This is a potentially unpleasant flavor for those unfamiliar with green superfoods powder. It is HEAVY on the kale and wheatgrass right off the bat, and the vanilla comes in at the end. I'll be honest: I did not find this flavor palatable unless I mixed it with VERY chilled water (minus two points). The Super Greens flavor also made me *really gassy* for the rest of the day (sorry, TMI, but an important warning nonetheless). Minus two points for that. My advice? Don't drink this flavor before giving an important presentation, going on a date, or doing anything within close physical proximity to another person.FINAL THOUGHTSI like the Rich Mocha and PB & Banana flavors and will continue to buy those. Definitely recommended for people who want a whole-foods, vegan meal-replacement shake on the go.

Meant to be drank/eaten per Complete Start Company
I have been heavy into protein on the go, but am also concerned about what’s in the supplements and protein products I consume. Supplement Superstore really doesn’t cater to this desire, so when I saw this USDA certified variety pack, I was stoked (especially after reading the reviews about their flavor). I love the idea of individual packs of power because I typically go straight from work to the gym, this is a very efficient feature for on-the-go powders. The packaging was bright and aesthetically appealing with all of the information you might need to know (ingredients, nutrition facts, certifications, servings, etc.) I chose the Rich Mocha for my “brunch” ( I eat a late breakfast because of my work schedule) flavor, as it has coffee in it (I typically have coffee or tea during this time). I shook the powder with 12 ounces of cool water in my blender bottle. I took a sip and the consistency was very chunky, so I assumed I didn’t shake long/ vigorously enough. I shook it again and continued to do so intermittently as I was working on other things. I sipped it once more and again, the consistency was so chunky that it was making me gag. I know this sounds dramatic, but mind you I am not picky AT ALL and have used many other protein powders before (1st phorm, sunwarrior, garden of life, etc.). I though, perhaps, I didn’t add enough water and the solution was just settling out. I added more water, shook, and received the same results. The flavor was great, the consistency, however, made the shake unbearable. I figured if the mocha was too chunky, the others would be worse so I immediately asked for a refund. The representative I corresponded with through email was prompt and quickly refunded my money while adding that the shakes are really meant to be “drank/eaten.” I realize that this may be true, however, this was not clearly stated anywhere on the website, product packaging, etc.So, if you want a shake to drink/eat, this is the one for you!

Great if You Mix With Almond Milk
First, customer service is really great. I contacted company with a problem and they got right back to me with an offered refund and a suggestion. I didn't take the refund b/c I wanted to give the product a try with the suggested plant-based milk. I first tried to mix these shakes with water and you *definitely* should not do that. It didn't mix at all and I ended up with a slurry on the bottom and lightly flavored water on top no matter how much I shook the blender bottle. Yuck. But Jon (the owner) suggested I try something like almond milk and I was surprised at what a difference that made. With milk, these mix easily and stay mixed. There's still some graininess but nothing that bothered me. While almond milk makes these taste great (and I like all 3 flavors), having to use it does detract from the convenience a bit. Now I cart a container of almond milk into work and hope nobody swipes it from the community fridge. Of course, any kind of milk adds calories and, for me, that's kind of a bummer b/c I'm always looking to cut calories. That being said, I like these enough that I'm thinking about going on auto-delivery once I use up the variety pack I got this time.
