Pair Travel Trailer Locks, Polar White Keyed Alike

When I purchased my travel trailer, the previous owner handed me a huge key ring with over twenty keys on it. I couldn't believe it. The very first thing I did was order a set of matching door handles for the two doors. Between these handles, the two dead bolts and the locks on all of the storage bays, I am now down to 3 keys for the entire trailer.The install was very straight forward. They seem to operate as expeted from both inside and out. The finish on the handles appears to be of good quality and hopefully will last for years. I would recommend this set for anyone who has two doors on their RV or trailer and wants to have one key for both.

These latches and the support from the sellers who sell these latches are AAA. I have an older(31yrs young!) 38' motorhome and one of the latches on my under bus storage compartment doors broke. These latches are a perfect fit and look much better than the old weathered, sticky silver latches that are on there now. You get two latches with this sale and eight, yes 8!! Keys that fit both latches! One of the latches that I recieved had a slight issue but the seller took care of it the instant that I contacted them with absolutely no hassle at all. It wasnt a big issue but gave a great example of how well the seller backs his product. These latches are less expensive than the same exact latches that you can find anywhere else as well. Everywhere else, they are at least $25 each and up(go ahead and look!). You have to buy 2 here but they come out to be just $20 each. I guess I dont mind that since now that I've replaced a couple, I think I'll eventually replace them all so my hatches look nicer. If you need these type of latches, you cant go wrong with these.

Should be a 5 star review but the latches were NOT keyed alike as advertised! I needed to install the two locks as is due to the trailer being sold and I needed to replace the latches as part of the deal. I told the purchaser the latches would be keyed alike. They were upset when it turned out they were not. I needed to reduce the price by the cost of the latches to save the deal. The way I look at it the seller needs to refund me the money for the latches.

Yes, these are keyed alike. This is the main reason I purchased them. BUT, it feels that the keying was reset manually by someone. This isn't a problem, but the barrels for the keys are loose. They dont come out, but they sure feel like they are ready to. Also, one of the locks doesn't "click" like it should. It still locks but there is no click (this is a metal ring inside the lock that is mis-aligned).Overall still a good lock. I highly recommend that you take it apart and add some more grease to it, just be ensure it works for a long time.

I bought this item because it said 'keyed alike'. The only alike these box's have in common is they both use keys. Each box opened with a completely different key. The point of this is to eliminate extra keys not add more to my key ring. I have a broken lock on my rig and now still can't replace it. Others posted the same problem but I went ahead and bought it. When that many people have the same complaint you better listen.

we ordered the set so all keys would match. 1 set went in entry door, the other set went in the walk-through door into horse area of trailer. They installed within 5 minutes and worked perfectly. Each set comes with 2 sets of keys....so now you will have 4 sets of keys that work on both doors.....1 for you, 1 for significant other, 1 to leave somewhere in home in case others lost and a 4th set to leave in your vehicles! Never be without your keys again!

We wanted both doors keyed the same and these met that need. My complaints are only about the fasteners they they come with. They are awful....very soft. I used the ones that we with our OEM handles instead. That highlighted the fact they the can be over torqued causing the handle to bind. That was not the case with the OEM handles. Regardless, they are installed and are working well. I am pleased over all. Oh, and you get enough spare keys to hand them out to everyone! 8 in total.

The lock sets work just fine. They remove a lot of aggravation sincentives you only use one key. BUT they came with a bent key. How does a key get bent while still attached to the lock? Or why would someone attach a bent key to a lock set? At least I only have to get one key made rather than two keys for two different lock sets. BUT forget using Home Depot, Lowe's, Ace; you have to use an actual locksmith - $6.50 per key. Fastec needs to hire people who care.
