BissellLittle Green HydroSteam Multi-Purpose Portable Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner, Car and Auto Detailer, 3618

I bought this to clean my Flor carpet tiles and whoa...I didn't know my carpet tiles were THAT dirty. I have to say that yes, the dirty water was disgusting. But at the same time, there is a weird satisfaction to seeing how dirty it is. I never really got that level of satisfaction from an upright because you can't see it sucking up the dirty water. With the portable item, you can see how much water and how much dirtiness you're sucking up. That way, I know how many more times to go over the same areas.But man, I didn't think this would really clean my 13 yr old dirty grout! We tried all home remedies for this grout and nothing worked. But the Hydrosteam with the Oxy cleaner really got it back to the original, beige color. Use the tough situation brush and it comes up instantly...brush brush and you're done. Who knew?

WOW, what a machine! I opened the box immediately upon receiving and found it both well packaged and easy to unbox. I used it right away. I was able to use the steam feature with no difficulty and with some work was able to remove an old food stain (tomato sauce???) from my off-white dining chair fabric seat cover. I used the steam option primarily so as not to get the seat (padding) too wet. It's white again and looks like new!! I should mention that the new Green Machine tank designs are super easy to fill and empty. I'm so impressed with the results of my initial use of this machine...I also spot-cleaned some old carpet stains in a jiffy, too! Don't hesitate, get yourself this compact "dream cleaner!" Well worth the price. Highly recommend!!!

It's fine and works well, I just barely use it and would probably not replace it whenever it does go bad (hopefully not for a long time). I'll just rent from the store. The product itself does work well though. Just experiencing buyer's remorse.

I've always liked the brand name and has thought they made good products. Although I'm a little disappointed with this one, I spent the extra money for the steam feature, and I'm a little disappointed.So obviously it must get hot enough to produce steam although when I use this function on my fabric I expect my fabric to be hot, it wasn't. So I was careful to put my hand where the steam comes out just to notice it was barely warm which is a little bit odd. Anyhow it did pull my stains out but I'm disappointed that I spent the extra money for it. Is there something wrong with mine? I wouldn't advise to spend the extra money for the steam version but that choice is up to you. It might just be my machine I don't know, I chose to keep it instead of returning it. It's just a hassle thing, when you have something that you put water in and need to return it.

I been wanting one of these for awhile now, and it did a great 😕 job . If I was to rate it a 10 out of 10 . It does a good job on my sofa ,and car carpet too .

I like all the functions this vacuum has especially the suction and the Amount of wate capacity. Easy to use the only issue i have is the hose management & more different attachments for this unit. Would be nice this came warm water capabilities .

Great carpet cleaner / steamer. Works good, good steam output, good suction. Pays for itself in one use. Clean the hose often, it will clog at the end where it goes into the machine with hair. Two screws to remove and clean. Vacuum your carpet really really well first. Other than that, this machine is fantastic, removes pet stains you wouldn't think could come out. Impressed me in the first 5 min. I did 3 rooms with it ( 2 hours) and had no problems. Love it!

For the steam only mode you must move extremely slow, barely at all. Steam and water you must move fast. Needs tinkering.The steam is not very hot, and does not have much force output.Even leaving the machine to warm up with a new fresh water tank the steam is not near the heat of my garment steamer.Which I had to use to penetrate a kitchen mat a cat had a UTI moment on the pad corner edge, they're trained to know it's okay to go outside to do that when they need (I will then open the door for them).I repeat. I used the little green hydrosteam and thoroughly steamed and sprayed the top and bottom of kitchen cushioned standing pad on the top and bottom of corner. With no chemical added as there was none in the used box.I could still smell the urine after it had dried. The garment steamer is 1800Watts and I was able to not have to touch the pad to penetrate with enough steam to disinfect the bacteria causing the odor.But there are other older spots that I had attempted to clean as well, finally acquiring a machine like this. Same problem, I guess. Not enough steam penetration power to completely knock out the smell. The only chems the local store seemed to have was for the large Bissell units, perhaps they were out.So I did not purchase those.Cleaned the automobile upholstery fairly well. I had to keep cleaning it, as there was steady dirt visible being extracted in the clear 5" attachment provided. There is no 3" attachment with the package. How nice if the steam was able to push through with some vigor, to only need to do this once or twice and done.I was only able to do these 3 spot cleans and an auto seat and noticed the hose attached portion of the handle feeling loose. I set it back in, and tried to finish the job. There appears to be a crack in the plastic at juncture, under palm, and complete disassembly of product. With one wire then exposed and a tube running alongside it for fluid.I wanted to love this product. Then noticed some of the troubled areas. Please improve this handle at hose attachment. As instructions are to apply firm pressure to extract the fluid, with the vacuum dry pass.This problem and the steam force of output seems the biggest need for improvement. For this Bissell Little Green HydroSteam machine. There are not many steam products for us as consumers, steam being the truest of cleans. Improve these and it will be good for your business. ;)Noise is meh, tolerable. Makes a different noise when the steam and water mode is on, don't forget to turn steam mode off when vacuuming and out of water. I don't know if it auto disables upon detecting of empty tank. Which could over heat the unit.I also did not receive cleaner solution in the package, perhaps because I purchased it used. Nor did I receive a 3" attachment, when going to the Bissell site for warranty claim (You have to call, there is no digital form -.- ; How nice if Amazon helped with warranty), it is stated that there was to be a 3" attachment, 2" attachment, and a small area brush attachment with this model number 3618, but it also lists 3 other models on the paper). Though the product looked unused when I had opened. $10 bottle of cleaner apparently. Which the local store must not have had in stock. Portability, I could easily set this unit on an automobile seat or in the floor board and get to cleaning. Hose is maybe 2-3 inches too short, but it wraps around the unit well with a little stretch.
