Garden hose spigot!
Looks like this will suffice to attach a garden hose to the bottom of an IBC tote. I haven't had a chance to test it yet, so we'll see. Hopefully it mates up right and doesn't leak any. This is a great way to get a garden hose on the outlet. I've built all kinds of stuff before. This should be way better than any of that made of PVC and less prone to breaking.

Perfect for re-using an IBC Tote as a rainwater capture tank.
Easier than adding a spigot to a plastic barrel, and upwards of four times the rainwater capacity.

Finally found the right one for my water tank
There appear to be more sizes than they let on to these water containers. I had to try several before I got the one that would fit. I don't like that it has an adapter piece in order to use it. I would have preferred finding a cap that fit directly on, but at least I can use a hose now. It just sticks out more and I have to be careful not to put side pressure as they would likely make it easy to break something.
