Almost Perfect!
I bought these as part of an assembly for an electroculture project in my vegetable garden. They are very sturdy and will work extremely well for my purpose. However, I had to knock one star off because these rods do NOT have the "Anti-sliding" design with the small protrusions near the top of the pole as described in the listing. They're completely smooth the entire length of the rod.

These should work fine on shallow soil, if it has good moisture
I bought these 4 foot grounding rods for an electric fence charger. They are too short, I need 8 foot × 5/8 rods instead. I decided to use these short rods on a couple small solar electric systems that I have here. They'll work fine for that. I don't know if these rods are solid copper or just copper plated.
