Curious, clear, and quietly revolutionary, this book is a mindset shift for the AI era
Co-Intelligence doesnโt shout. It teaches. With a tone thatโs grounded, encouraging, and refreshingly jargon-free, Ethan Mollick offers a roadmap for working with AI rather than reacting to it. Whether youโre experimenting as a creative, an educator, a small business owner, or simply trying to stay relevant, this book gives you the context and confidence to step in. What resonated most with me was its practical, permission-giving approach: you donโt need to be technical, you just need to be curious. Mollick strips away the hype and fear and instead reframes AI as a tool for co-creation and thinking better. The examples are thoughtful, the strategies are accessible, and the mindset shift is real.

Very helpful indeed
This book explores the evolving relationship between humans and artificial intelligence, focusing on how collaborative thinking can unlock greater creativity and productivity. The author presents clear frameworks and engaging examples to show how AI can enhance decision-making, problem-solving, and learning processes. At the same time, the book thoughtfully addresses potential risks, including overreliance and ethical concerns. Its balanced perspective makes it both insightful and practical. While some ideas may feel familiar to readers already versed in AI discussions, the book remains accessible and forward-looking. Overall, it is a valuable read for anyone seeking to effectively integrate AI into their work and daily thinking.

One of the Best AI Books Iโve Read
I've read heaps of books on AI over the last year and this is by far nne of my favorites. It explores how AI can amplify human creativity, decision-making, and learning, rather than replace us. Clear, optimistic, and very relevant. Love Ethan's writing style - makes it super easy to digest such a fascinating topic.

A really helpful guide to living and working with AI
I was recommended to read this book to see how to incorporate AI into work and daily life. Aspects of AI are quite scary and it is developing at an extremely rapid pace so I wanted to be able to have an informed conversation about it. I bought the Kindle version to experiment with a new way of summarising the book as I try to summarise the key poonts from all the reference books I read. Ethan has been researching and teaching using AI for a number of years in an American University. The book sets the scene in a helpful way before focusing on AI as a co-worker, a tutor and a coach. There are lots of stories and examples of how AI has been used. Key terms and concepts are clearly explained and the strenghts and weaknesses of AI are both covered. It has left me with four principles to work with as I engage with AI and some suggestions about how to engage with it which I have just started. AI is here, it will affect many aspects of our lives and this book is a very helpful way of exploring this and responding to it in an approriate way.

Just broad picture
I expected more specifics and AI tools that we can apply to our everyday tasks. In the end, it was just a lot of thoughts on the subject. Not bad, and sometimes not obvious. The result is a good book to think about the future, but don't expect it to tell you exactly how to make your life better and more fun.

A Great Read!
I purchased this after it being mentioned in his blog as I have a keen interest in the progress of AI. I was not disappointed with this book. It is so easy to read in the way that it is written and everything about AI is explained well. The chapters cover most things and it is all relevant to the current AI situation. It has provoked a lot of thought and discussion amongst my colleagues in teaching. I highly recommend this book.

Basically fine
Written rather as if aimed at children rather than intelligent adults who might want to make sense of โ and find effective uses for โ generative AI, LLMs, etc., but interesting nonetheless. A perfectly reasonable few hoursโ reading. There are undoubtedly much better books on the subject.

I now have a valuable working partnership with an Alien..and I love it.
An easy read that inspires those of us who dabble with AI to take it more seriously and treat it as a partner. It's absolutely life changing
