Pofomark USB Flash Drive 256GB - Silver with Keychain Design

256Gb for under £30 seems too good to be true - because it is. This is utter garbage (I'm being polite).Whilst the drive does show capacity of 256Gb, you will die before you can fill it up - it is so s-l-o-w. I cancelled a copy of 100Gb after it ran continuously for 2 days. The transfer rate is less than 1kb/s - people in the stone ages had faster USB drives!!!!NOTE - This is for the 256Gb drives - I cannot comment on the other capacities.

I agree with some other reviews. This device was a disaster for me. The device was incredibly slow, way below advertised, and files disappeared from folders for no reason, an effect which then spread to other devices, very worrying. This is a very strange fault but exactly similar to that reported by others. Best avoided.

I bought the 128 gig drive as the 256 gig one was not in stock at the time of my order. Loved the design on the picture When it arrived I started to transfer graphic files across. The next day I plugged the drive in and discovered that half of my folders were empty. Yeah, that can happen sometimes that a drive is faulty. I would just return it and get a new working one....In the meantime the 256 gig drive was available again, so I ordered it, with the plan to return the faulty 128 gig drive. It arrived this morning. Happy to be able to finally get my files transferred I plugged it in and got started.....You can imagine my frustration when exactly the same happened again and half my folders ended up empty again. Both drives will not retain files once a certain amount of data is used on the flash drive. About 60 gig of files on the 256 gig drive and files started to disappear. The transfer also is very slow. I have wasted hours copying files ,only for them to disappear into nothing. Very disappointed !

Bought the 256 GB version. Transfer was really really slow. Took me over 4 hours to transfer four movies and a folder full of pictures worth 40 GB from my laptop to the flash drive. I CUT AND PASTED the files instead of COPY PASTING. The transfer froze at the very end with 5 secs remaining and my laptop didn't regain control. I lost the entire folder full of pictures and one movie worth 25 GB as a result.You get what you pay for, but this... this is taking something away as well. I am in the negative now.:(

Yeah nothing more to add than other reviewers, absolute useless after barely using 40gb. It doesn't transfer files properly, even if they show that they have. It crashes a lot and transfer rate is mega slow. Cheap crap, being sold cheap but when you buy two at the same time like me you are down more than fifty quid.

Guess you get what you pay for, should have read the information better, when you upload films it is that slow I have not managed to get a recording on it, very poor, spend a little more money and get a USB 3.0 version at 150 MB/s

It doesn't work. I didn't start using it until the return window had expired so sadly I can't return it. I wanted it mainly to move large quantities of files between my PC and laptop. When I copy folders to the flash drive from my PC all seems well. When I go to open it in my laptop none of the files are there. I would not recommend this item; as I said, it simply doesn't work and I'm annoyed at being ripped off like this.

256GB - not sure if its a bad batch but these are so slow that even Stonehenge looks faster. Pity because they look good and robust.
