Works well
I have three of these and they all work well. Set-up is fairly straight forward provided you follow the enclosed instructions. Most important - do not forget your pin. If you take the drive out you will lose all data.

This really works. I have 1TB SSD's in several of these and they're fast, reliable and secure. A bargain! :-)And still going strong after almost 3 years, despite suffering an awful lot of travel.

Connector is problematic
This works well but I'm on my second one now & this has developed the same fault as my first one. The connector on these seems to fail after 1 or 2 years use. I have to hold the cable in & lift it up slightly to maintain a connection to it. Very annoying. 😬

Solid so far.
lasted for 8 years so far with 3 PC refreshes.I also noticed that some reviewers have mentioned randomly losign connection, annoying when you need to re-enter passwords. I solved this issue when caught the same way on windows 10 upgrade. My problem was the windows Device Manager which keeps trying to kill power on USB devices when idle. Most of the time my laptop is mains powered. The fix was to visit the USB hub mass storage settings and clear the poweroff device settings. The external drive now behaves properly.
