Home valley work from home and are not interested if you have a complaint
Fridge only works on mains electric. Gas and 12v are useless, not much good in a travelling campervan! We were told to turn the fridge upside down for six hours before trying gas again. We tried this but it was still useless and hopeless in a campervan anyway as removing it is difficult. It was warmer INSIDE the fridge than outside on gas. Home valley aren't interested and have said as it's a new product it works. They then said we should follow the instructions, which is insulting when i had already told them we followed their instructions and turned it upside down!

Lovely fridge and silent too
Lovely little fridge. It works well, no noise whatsoever . It would be a good idea to put a small light on so you no it is working

Camping fridge
It fitted well in the trailer tent. Was very quiet when switched on which was good. The only negative I could find was it could do with a display light on the front to indicate it functioning. Well pleased

What do you want to Know! Carvin FA50G
Please note item was not from this seller!! But all Carvin FA50G models.I installed a Carvin FA50G in a horse lorry. They only wanted to use it on lpg gas.The fitting was very complicated as this fridge is designed to work straight from the bottle and the connection from the fridge is a lpg rubber hose push on type, which was supplied. They should supply a kit to connect to 8mm cooper pipe and not the push on rubber fitting. It can be connected but the 8mm copper pipe will not fit in to the compression fitting from the Fridge. A reducer is needed as the bore of the fitting is 7mm. (This is where the copper pipe goes into the fitting then the olive then the nut).I hope this helps. As mentioned in another post you can’t see the flame even though there is an inspection gate to move across.Fires up ok cooled ok. There are better products on the market pay a little bit more and better quality.

Flawed but generally good.
This is a compact fridge which is marketed for campers, caravans, RV's and camper vans. Although it is generally a decent fridge it has one major flaw which should be stated by the seller and description removed or altered. The gas supply inlet consists of a 3/8ths BSP left hand thread union with 8 mm pigtail.which is good if you are only using a hose ,regulator and gas bottle. However as most caravans and camper vans have rigid pipework and compression fittings getting a union to fit is nigh on impossible to find. If the manufacturers were able to supply this type of fitting then I would give five stars. The lack of getting a full gas safety test is frustrating as you cannot use hose after copper.I was also a bit disappointed that I could not see the pilot light, but the green indicator on the front is adequate to observe the cooling rate.

Not a three way fridge
Does not work on gas or twelve volt just mains to keep things cold. Not impressed as all food has gone off and not fit for purpose.
