I use this to prevent hair from going down the drain in my laundry tub when rinsing color out of my hair. I don’t leave it in place when the laundry is running and use a lint trap on the hose instead. Works exactly as I need. Wish I would have bought them years ago.

These things are absolutely excellent and exactly what I was looking for. I have a lot of hair and sometimes it goes down the drain and clogged it up this prevents that. And it also allows the water to flow through well. I had another type that caught it from underneath, and it was ridiculous. If you got one piece of hair in it, your water could barely go through the sink. And some people might like that because they can close it and fill the sink if they want, but I don’t use it for that. I really love this. It’s exactly what I was looking for.

These are fantastic. Just what I needed to keep things from falling down the drain in my bathroom sink. The other day a little bottle of eye drops fell out of the cabinet right into the hole and we had to use an icepick to dig the thing out. They are very nice looking and the material of the wire mesh seems to be very durable and easy to clean. Water goes right through them.

I’m removing one star because I have seen them at multiple big box and hardware stores for cheaper. They do work well to catch hair and prevent items from going down the drain. So far they are not rusting and they are easy to remove.

Keeps hair (long!) from clogging the shower drain. Small size so be sure you order the correct size for your drain. This is a fine screen that does a great job. (My plumber is sad that I never call him anymore!)
