Levi'sWomen's 501 Mid Thigh Short

I love these shorts. They're comfortable and have lasted me over a year, still in perfect condition. They are really cute but they kind of fit weird on my butt? I don't really know what to do about that but other denim likes to do the same thing so maybe I'm the problem. Anyways I love these.

Big fan of these shorts! I was iffy about the longer length at first. After trying them, I realized I liked them so much because 6” bike shorts are my most flattering length, and these are the same inseam. (I’m 5’5” and they hit upper mid thigh for reference).These shorts hug all the right places. The material is a lot stretchier than I was expecting, but still works (97% cotton 3” elastic). I found them to be true to size. I got the white ones and they’re a perfect shade of soft off-white. They are slightly see through, so they will need to be worn with nude underwear… but such is the case with most white pants.I know the longer length inseams are trendy right now, but this style feels timeless and classic. Can’t wait for warmer weather now!

In reading many other reviews, I was under the impression that these would run very small. I’ve experienced other Levi’s shorts that did run small, so I originally ordered these two sizes above my normal size. Note that the color was the Pleased To Meet You dark wash. When those were way too big I tried ordering again only one size up and still too big. So I ended up making a third order of my normal size and they fit perfectly. I’m wondering if it depends on the color, which you would have no way of knowing if the color you wanted would run small. I gave 4 starts for lack of clarity on sizing, but otherwise these are great. Super flattering, they are perfectly high waisted and hit at the right spot on the thigh to make legs look slender and long, are a good length but don’t look like Bermuda’s. They’re 100% cotton and do have a little give in the fabric, and aren’t as stiff as I was expecting based on other reviews. Very comfortable. Love the button fly.

Exactly the type of short I have been looking for! These are a great length and they don’t ride up. Levi is such a great go-to brand. I’m 5’6, 140lbs and I ordered a 27 waist, that’s my usual size. Additionally, they have good stretch and are comfortable to squat down in.

These were cute and great quality, but they were an awkward length for me! I have pretty short legs and they went down longer than I wanted them to. They fit TTS!

I love them so much! 5'9, 175lbs, waist is 33, hips are 45.5 So finding pants can be difficult at times. I looked at all of the reviews which are all over the place, and decided to take a chance on just the sizing chart. I ended up getting a size 34 and I'm so glad I did! They're so comfortable, no pinching when sitting down, no frumpiness. I feel like I might could go to a 33 for a tighter fit, but decided to play it safe.UPDATE: I definitely could've gotten a size smaller for a more snug and tighter fit and would've been fine. But so far I value being able to squat down and bend over without feeling like my internal organs are getting crushed by my jeans.

The shorts are cute but my god do they run small. I was sizing up to a 30 because I put on weight but putting these on felt like I was still trying to squeeze into a 27. Bought two other Levi size 30 shorts that were a different style and they fit perfect as they are supposed to. So I’m assuming this style of pant is the issue. Returning the 30 and thought about sizing up, but I think I'll just pass altogether. Ladies just remember these shorts don’t reflect your true size! These pants are just small as all heck.

These are good shorts! I am so particular when looking for shorts that it feels nearly impossible to find a pair I actually like. I only like: real cotton denim, a real 5” inseam (not 5” BEFORE a cuff), no holes or distressed hems, and not spending $80 on one pair. I got these on sale for $26 and they’ve been great. I am not a huge fan of the button fly but at least it isn’t bulky and it lays pretty flat.I’d say it runs pretty true to size. . I’m 5’7” and 145lb and ordered what was the equivalent to a size 6 (28?). There isn’t much wiggle room in my hips and the waist is a bit too large, but that’s to be expected with my waist to hip ratio.If it was a regular zipper fly and it fit my waist, these would be a home run for sure. As is, I’m pretty content and have another pair on their way.
