Its funny, cute everything you could ever ask for in a manga. With every chapter we see Yamada becoming warmer and more sweet. If you are a Shoujo lover like myself then this series is a much read. Trust me you won't regret it. Recently this was also made into an anime, which I also recommend.

This volume covers the first 3 episodes of the anime. There are only minor differences.Finally, the book arrived sans damage and I read it all in one sitting and loved it! It has promising characters, a steady pace and aesthetic art.There are 9 chapters with 'extras'. The story is set in college for the female protagonist Akane and Yamada-kun is a 3rd year highschooler. There is gaming terminology and slang used, just FYI.One drawback: The pages are yellow and thin enough for the print on the other side of the page to be slightly noticeable.Overall, this volume quenched my thirst for shoujo titles. It didn't feel dated and it made me laugh-out-loud like some older series used to.

I regret pre‐ordering the kindle version since the scan quality isn't that good. I was expecting better considering the $9 price. I purchased a lot of manga on kindle and even an older title such as Daughter of the albert house or In/spectre has better quality than this. I expected more since this is a fairly popular manga.Other than that I love the story. It's a great mix of sweetness and bit of reality. I love yamada and akane's journey of growth and romance.
