Unusable Dangerous
The small spurs might work on poles or very thinly barked trees but pines or pecans I wouldn’t try it. The thin metal buckles are a cheap as they could be and still work. But the worst part is the lack of padding. they immediately dig into your leg, making them painfully unusable.If your going as a climber for Halloween these are the way to go. If you need to do tree work, spend the money on a decent pair.Update: tried to use them anyway, with lots of added padding. Left one bent from under my foot first 20’ up a tree because the metal is soft and thin. I’m glad I had a safety line so I could get down. Dangerous garbage.
