Easy to use
Reads, resets, tests functions ,diagnose faults, obd2 and clears codes. Connects to internet to look up codes on line. NOT a programmer to turn on off functions like STAR does.

The real deal, ABC commands, and vast diagnostics.
The big question for me "Does it command the ABC suspension?" YES, it does! I have multiple Mercedes and this unit does great. It is easy to use and accurately reads sensors like wheel speed live. I have many hand held units, Bluetooth apps that are awesome, but none are Bi-Directional like this. It is fast, fast enough to not feel slow. My SL600 has a lot of systems to read and it takes 2-3 minutes. I did time it. Overall I could not beat the Christmas sale price so I jumped on it. It has been a great value and perfectly accurate so far. I did run into an error in the first week of use. Foxwell joined the unit remotely and updated my software right in front of my eyes. Cleared the units error and it worked perfectly after. 5 stars guys!

Horrible service and support. Fooled me twice.
This is my second NT710 unit. The first one broke under warranty, however their support is useless and they became totally unresponsive after a few email exchanges. The warranty then ran out and I was informed they would not support the unit anymore due to the expired warranty, even though I began the service ticket during the warranty period. But since brand-name Autel scanners are hideously expensive I went against my better judgement and just bought another one. While it was working, my previous NT710 had impressive features, so I figured I'd give it another shot. Unfortunately, the brand new unit which was just delivered to me is also inoperable. It seems that I was sent a refurbished unit that has already been registered to a previous user, so now the serial number is locked and I cannot connect it to my Foxwell account. Great. Now I have to once again deal with Foxwell support, which is like talking to a brick wall that speaks broken english. I have no idea whether they'll actually help me this time or just hang me out to dry again. If I don't get an adequate resolution quickly I'm going to just return the unit and spend the money on an actual name-brand scanner. UPDATE: They did come through with support for my new/refurbished unit and it functions as it should. Everything else I said stands.

S217 2017 S63 AMG coupe brake replacement deactivation
Fantastic. Worked like a charm. I tried many others and returned them all. Even though the others said they would deactivate the electric parking brakes, EPB, for brake-pad replacement service, they did not. This unit worked perfect for my 2017 Mercedes S63 AMG coupe.

Does what horribly expensive "brand name" scanners can't do.
I have been a loyal "red brick" scantool person for 40 years. This "Benz" outfitted scantool does more than snappy and is intuitive and much easier to understand. I initially had an issue registering it due to wifi connectivity. You have to clear any networks that are saved at initial startup. Although the tool was new there was a saved network from the factory installed. You also have to turn off the "disconnect wifi" button. All the software and firmware updates are free for life after registration. Try getting something free from the big boys. I first used this tool to properly and quickly calibrate my suspension in a 2014 S Class. It's not a STAR but it's a fraction of the cost without subscription fees. I love it!

Title: 2024 Mercedes GLC 300 owners: this does not work out of the box
I purchased the FOXWELL NT710 specifically for my 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 4MATIC (X254), but it could not communicate with the vehicle at all. Auto VIN did not work, every Mercedes control module showed โNo communication,โ and even the basic OBDII function remained stuck on โLoading.โ After contacting FOXWELL, they confirmed that my vehicle uses the DoIP protocol and requires an additional DoIP cable that is not included with the scanner. This requirement was not clearly disclosed on the Amazon product page, even though the product is advertised as a full-system Mercedes diagnostic scanner. FOXWELL replied quickly, but they still told me to purchase the missing cable myself. The only place I could find the correct cable was through their website, which redirected me to a seller in the Shop app. Shipping was expensive, delivery was slow, and I still had no clear assurance that the complete setup would work properly with my vehicle. Without this additional cable, the scanner is basically unusable on my 2024 GLC 300. Buyers should not have to discover after purchasing a $300+ scanner that another hard-to-find cable is required just to establish communication with the vehicle. Fast customer service response, but a very poor overall buying experience. This important compatibility limitation and required accessory should have been clearly disclosed before purchase.

Wow, this scanner fixed my rear air suspension problem
My rear air suspension on my Nissan Armada had failed, a new sensor was installed but the shop that installed it using both a Snapon and Apple OBD2 scanner could not connect to main computer to activate the suspension. I took to Nissan dealer and after $220 shop cost they could not make it work either. So I bought this unit, sent the seller the serial number and they pushed the Nissan program to the unit. I first did a full install of any new updates for the unit from its Update screen ( so easy) then installed the 4 NISSAN programs which includes INFINITI GTR & a DFNISSAN. I turned truck ignition on after connecting this scanner went through menus to suspension then started my truck and then first tested turning on and off the compressor, then performed the Standard Height Level successfully. The suspension is now level and the CHK SUSPENSION light dash is gone. I included a video, (my apologies for the shaky delays), I was holding my cell above the unit while working through the screens

Well worth it
Brought for my glc63 as check engine light was on. Detailed scan saved me having to buy a 1400 air conditioner compressor as it was only a sensor

Great unit, lots of functionality
I was using a non vehicle specific scanner which foes read some codes but nothing like what this scanner does. You can go into each module and pinpoint problem components. Miles ahead of the trial and error approach. Easy to use, great quality. If you are taking on some of the repairs of your SL500 R230, you need this.

Only for one specific make of vehicle's systen data that is lifetime free update
In our family, we have three different makes of vehicle, that is Mercedes Benz, Mitsubishi and Toyota, and in my prior purchase awareness is that I thought the device can be used for most vehicles which are supported out of the box. It does not clearly say that you have to pay for other system data of the make vehicle that you want use beside the specific one that is your first choice. In my case, I pay AU $359 and $ 219.44 for hardware and software(data) respectively. A diagnostic reports is completely useless as is hardly understood and have no time to digest it. After spending $578.44 nothing is gained from it, but more concerned issues propped up that is not shown as a warning in the car daskboard. So in my conclusion I would not recommended for any light hearted one getting it speaking for myself.

Works well & easy to understand
Works very well on both my '02 and a friend's 2015 Mercedes. Good value.
