IDEATECH Reusable Bags Dishwasher Safe, BPA Free Reusable Gallon Freezer Bags, Stand Up Leakproof Food Storage Bags for Marinate Meats, Salad Fruit, Home Organization 6 Large+ 6 Sandwich+ 8 Snack Bags

I was excited to find silicone bags that were all one piece. Our earlier attempts at these had a slide bar used to close the bag which made it cumbersome. These almost fit the bill perfectly. Sandwiches fit perfectly with room to spare so an additional treat can be added. Hand washing is a breeze as I wrap messier sandwiches in paper towels first. The only drawback I have found so far is I ran one throw the dishwasher and it came out totally misshapen. Still useable but now more of a challenge to use. Overall though I am please with these and have ordered a second set of 12.

In the quest for more sustainable and convenient solutions for everyday needs, silicone bags for food storage stand out as a truly innovative product. These handy bags aim to replace single-use plastics, offering an eco-friendly alternative that doesn’t sacrifice functionality for sustainability. After extensively testing these silicone storage solutions, I’ve gathered my thoughts on their key features and overall performance. Design and Durability First off, the aesthetic and build quality of these silicone bags are top-notch. Designed to be sturdy and leak-proof, they feature a seal that’s both secure and easy to open. Unlike their plastic counterparts, these silicone bags can withstand extreme temperatures, making them perfect for everything from freezing leftovers to sous vide cooking. The thickness of the silicone used ensures durability, meaning these bags can be used repeatedly without showing signs of wear and tear. This aspect alone makes them a worthwhile investment, as they’re likely to outlive a vast array of plastic bags. Versatility and Usability One of the most appreciated features is the versatility these silicone bags offer. They’re not only great for food storage but also excel in organizing small items, making them a multi-purpose solution for decluttering beyond the kitchen. Their usability extends to cleaning as well; these bags are dishwasher safe, simplifying the cleaning process significantly. This ease of maintenance, combined with their resilience, allows them to maintain their clarity and quality over time, unlike plastic bags that may become cloudy or brittle. Eco-Friendliness and Safety The environmental impact, or rather the lack thereof, is a huge benefit. Made from food-grade silicone, these bags are free from harmful chemicals found in some plastics, such as BPA, lead, and phthalates. Their reusability plays a crucial role in reducing plastic waste, contributing to a greener planet. Safety is another significant advantage. The materials used ensure that the bags are safe for storing all kinds of food items, including baby food, without the risk of chemical leeching. Conclusion In conclusion, these silicone bags for food storage are a fantastic product for anyone looking to make their kitchen more sustainable without compromising on quality or convenience. Their strength, versatility, and safety make them a superior choice over plastic bags. While the initial cost might be higher than your average disposable bag, the long-term benefits and durability offer great value for money. Whether you’re an avid cook, a home organization enthusiast, or simply looking to reduce your ecological footprint, these silicone storage bags are a great and handy addition to any household.

For the price and function, these bags are amazing. I prefer another major brand in general but they’re too expensive to buy a bunch for meal prep so I went for these. These are a great option for anyone getting started and they’re easy to open and seal. I docked a star for a major deal-breaker for me: the foldable bottoms. Totally my fault for overlooking it on the listing because I know I know I don’t like them and wouldn’t have bought them, but it makes them SUPER annoying to clean so I’m already replacing them with another brand. That’s my bad. Otherwise they’re great and have gone through the dishwasher just fine and stack well in the freezer.

Great for frozen, refrigerated, or room temp purposes. I typically was them in the top rack of my dishwasher without the drying setting. Happy with the quality and the range of sizes. I’m trying to reduce my use of plastic so these are perfect and not single-use. They seal really great too.

I used a couple of times and there's already a small hole. Overall ok, but won't last long for sous vide use.

This is my personal review on the Ideatech reusable bags. They are not sponsored. I bought them with my own cash. These bag's have been a game changer for my household. I went on a deep dive to find a reusable bpa free bag. Because, I don't have an ice maker I like to make 2 trays of ice cubes and store them in a container, for my day to day usage. I tried a plastic container with a lid and it didn't work for me plus it was cumbersome in the freezer. I then tried a plastic gallon freezer bag and I noticed the freezer bags didn't last. I then used a freezer bag with the ice cubes and then put that bag inside another freezer bag. It was okay, but noticed that the ice cubes still weren't staying as fresh as I would like. This is when I decided to find a reusable bag that was bpa free. I now have a strong reusable bag that I can store my ice cubes in and my ice cubes stay fresh. The Ideatech reusable bags are hand washable with a strong seal. I will say that at times sealing the bags can be difficult but, only because the seal on the bag is super cold. I like to make a big batch of waffles and freeze them. I will definitely be trying these reusable bags for my waffles. I will let you know my thoughts when this occurs.

I bought these bags for extra water storage while ultralight camping. The material is thick enough. I am not concerned about them getting punctured. The only drawback for me is that they will not actually hold 1 gallon while closed. The maximum closed capacity is exactly 3 liters. Its not so bad because my camelbak bladder is also 3L. So, these will work out well enough for my intended goals. These are much more afforable than buying extra bladders so Im happy. I just wish they made a 2.5gal version with gromets on top so I could use it like a bucket. The base keeps 3L of water stable on a flat surface. This is a good product. Highly recommended. I love this product because I don’t like to use one time use Ziploc bags. These are easy to wash, easy to put in the dishwasher for cleaning. The only concern I have is sometimes they are hard to close but to keep Ziploc’s out of landfills and oceans I am otherwise more than happy with this product and have made multiple purchases

Bought these after seeing demo on batch breezing. For me the largest bag is too big, but they seal well, and the seem dense enough to be robust. They do stain slightly depending on what’s inside, but biggest bug bear is the narrow opening and corner folds on the bottom make it harder to clean the nooks & crannies. Also not sure if best way to label them, as after a few months in the freezer can’t always remember everything in them/which recipe it was from.
