I got this for my 12 year old who is fascinated by robotics and he absolutely loved it. He had so much fun putting it together and now has it sat on his desk and actually uses it to move things around, his friends think it's great too especially because it can carry and move a variety of their other toys. The instructions were easy to follow, and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for something engaging as a gift this Christmas.

Ok so my child in fact built the robotic arm, but as a parent I thoroughly enjoyed collaborating on the difficult parts, feeling the impressed satisfaction of building an actual robotic arm as a result! It took some time to complete and needed full attention for my son, however a fantastic learning process following the clear instructions step by step, with a great exploratory route into robotics, or electrics/wiring etc.Great quality and performance of product - when put together correctly of course! I’d highly recommend for immersive play, age appropriate also.

We bought this for our great-nephew who is always into making things and he thinks this is really brilliant! He needed some help as bits were a little fiddly and he's only just turned 10 but with patience he managed to get it built more or less by himself, with lots of encouragement along the way. It now has pride of place in his room and he loves using it to pick things up and move them around, as well as proudly showing it off to his friends! He has also learnt a great deal about construction and the mechanics of robots and he is now asking for similar things for Christmas. Excellent value for money - we would certainly recommend this.

Should be a fun project and a useful toll but Many of the screw openings had to be bored out to take the screws. The control box was impossible to assemble due to manufacturing quality issues.I returned mine.

Great project with my son. Parts are well designed. If they are young you will need to help with understanding instructions and fitting screws.One advice is put some grease in the gears as they are noisey without.

Decent looking. A few fiddly parts. Bought for Christmas and son built it next day and spent several hours taking his time to put it together to find it doesn't connect to control to work. Double checked wires and batteries etc but does nothing. Can't contact through Amazon so I will call company in instructions manual hopefully I'll get somewhere?

Good value for money. Kit has clear instructions which enabled my grandson to tackle making the item without any input from his parents. Would fully recommend for any child who is interested in the mechanics behind how things work

I brought this as a present for my nephew and he absolutely loves it. I really like that it’s educational as well as being fun. Building it and then playing with it after has kept him occupied for hours on end. Great value for money and a brilliant present for robot lovers
