THE SWADDLE SACK IS DESIGNED TO BRIDGE THE GAP FROM SWADDLING TO SLEEPING SACK. When baby is ready to transition from a swaddle, but not ready for a sleeveless wearable blanket, the Swaddle Sack is a great option to (1) keep baby snug and warm, (2) allow baby the use of his or her arms, and (3) allow baby to self-soothe by sucking on his or her hands. THE SWADDLE SACK IS PERFECT FOR BABIES WHO PREFER TO SLEEP WITH ARMS UP. The Swaddle Sack supports baby in a back sleeping position and allows for multiple arm and hand positions to help baby sleep better. The Swaddle Sack is an innovative design featuring uniquely shaped sleeves with foldover mitten cuffs to allow baby to have full access to hands to self-soothe and partial swaddle snugness to help reduce the startle reflex that can wake a sleeping baby. THE SWADDLE SACK IS THE IDEAL TRANSITIONAL SWADDLE with partial suppression of the Moro (Startle) Reflex, and the arms up sleeve design is a SAFER SLEEP SOLUTION. If baby rolls over, the design allows baby to use their arms to lift their torso and reposition his or her head to get access to air. The AAP strongly recommends that parents stop restraining baby’s arms in a snug swaddle when baby shows signs of starting to roll over, and the Swaddle Sack is a safer option for babies after they’ve outgrown swaddling. KEEP BABY COMFORTABLY WARM with the Swaddle Sack with sleeves. Many parents prefer the Swaddle Sack instead using a sleeveless sleeping sack, because when baby outgrows swaddling, baby may not be ready for a sleeveless wearable blanket. The lightweight breathable cotton knit fabric reduces risk of overheating. The Swaddle Sack design provides an important innovation that allows caregiver two options for providing BABY ACCESS TO HANDS. The FOLDOVER MITTEN CUFFS MAY BE WORN OPEN OR CLOSED: (1) parents can open the cuffs, so baby can SELF-SOOTHE, or (2) parents can close the cuffs to PROTECT BABY FROM FACIAL SCRATCHES. The design allows baby to self-soothe which is important because self-soothing helps baby sleep better and longer. The Swaddle Sack UNIQUELY SHAPED ARMS UP ¾ LENGTH SLEEVES are not full length, so baby’s arms will be close to body when mitten cuffs are closed for swaddle snugness. The patent pending sleeve design are not full length “by design.” When the mitten cuffs are closed and baby is placed in the Swaddle Sack, the uniquely shaped arms up design positions baby’s in a flexed, close-to-body, arms-up position, and shape and length of the sleeve helps partially suppress the Startle Reflex. Parents are encouraged to close the cuffs first, and then place baby in the sack. If the caregiver wants to allow baby to suck directly on hands, then open one or both of the mitten cuffs. THE 2-WAY ZIPPER MAKES THE SWADDLE SACK EASY TO USE FOR THE CAREGIVER. The zipper has two zipper pulls – one at the neckline and one at the foot of the sack. The zipper zips down from the top to make it easy to place baby in the sack and zips up from the bottom to make it easy to check baby’s diaper. Parents are delighted with the 2-way zipper and the ease of use. The Swaddle Sack middle section is slightly tapered to place modest pressure on baby’s tummy and provide swaddle snugness. The lower section is less spacious than a typical sleeping sack, and in turn, the Swaddle Sack provides some suppression of the Startle Reflex for the legs. The Hip healthy design allows baby's knees and hips to flex. The design complies with the International Hip Dysplasia Institute guidelines. PURPLE hands/lower arms. Restricts blood flow.
My son’s hands were PURPLE when we took him out of this swaddle. Yes, he slept well in it. But it’s not worth it. They weren’t discolored from being cold. We warmed and rubbed his hands for SEVERAL minutes to restore blood flow. I couldn’t believe it. I want to love this. And so many other parents do. But for some reason it’s just not safe for our baby. Returning. This is the second arms up swaddle we have tried and I thought I noticed his hands looked a little dark after taking him out of the other one but I just assumed his hands were cold. Nope. No arms up swaddle from any brand for us. Just be mindful and pay attention to your babies hands and arms. Try it for a nap before a full night of sleep.

His best night of sleep yet!
OMG just buy this! I have swaddled my son in a blanket since day 1 (he's 4 months) for sleep and he rolled to his stomach the other day so I decided I needed to get him something that he could use his arms/hands in. I ordered this because it had a good reviews and it was cheaper than the other sleep sacks. This exceeded my expectations! I stuck him in this and put him in his crib awake and he fell asleep and didn't move all night. My little rolly polly is usually all over the place and he slept sound for almost 10 hours! The ONLY thing I would say is he is on the small side (less than 10th percentile) and I purchased the medium. The neck area was a little tight. Nothing terrible and once I moved the material around a little it wasn't bad but it wasn't nearly as loose as I expected. (I don't think it will last him until 6 months.) But for the price, I would be fine buying a larger size.

Wonderful Transitional Sleep Sack
Super soft and cozy sleep sack and I love that's it's 100% cotton. Most suited for when your baby's moro reflex has calmed down a bit and hopefully stops punching himself in the face :) Before that, it's too early to come out of the swaddle and baby will keep waking himself up (I actually bought this product too early). However, after that period, the arms up and ability to self soothe is a great transition to eventually using a regular sleep sack. Also, the double zipper is great for diaper changes. I have the bear print and it's super cute!

Can't believe something finally worked!
Every baby is different so there's no guarantee that this will work for your kid but for $20 it's worth a try. I have a colicky 4 month old that has to be held 24/7 and he lets me put him down to sleep when he is wearing this. For parents out there who have difficult babies you know what I'm talking about. Getting a couple of hours to move freely around the house: priceless! And I love that you have the option to uncover the hands because I'm all about promoting some self-soothing.

Perfect transition swaddle for babies
I really like this swaddle sack. It’s the perfect bridge from full swaddle to sleep sack. It allows the baby to lift his arms up away from his sides but controls the startle reflex. I wish I had discovered it with my older kids! It makes the transition period much easier. The material is nice quality and it’s well made.

Great transition item!
We used this to transition out of the magic Merlin suit. Our 3 month old was slowly starting to roll over and jerks herself awake while in her sleep. She had been in the magic Merlin suit for about a month but didn’t love her arms being out to her sides. This transition swaddle is not magic. We used it first during a nap. Most of the nap was jerking awake and crying. But by the second day she LOVED this swaddle. She can soothe herself with her hands and puts herself back to sleep even after jerking herself awake. Legs have a bunch of room to move and the material is very soft and light. Definitely worth a try if you’re looking to transition!

Zero to Sleep in 15 minutes or Less
For the past 3 weeks our LO has been struggling to get comfy in his last sleep sack but no more. After bath time, we slipped him into this and I was in awe. He didn’t fuss as his arms were placed into the sleeves and was visibly pleased with the freedom of his hands. It’s roomy so he can still kick and even lower he arms if he chooses. By the time he finished his bedtime feeding, he was falling asleep and less than 10 minutes had passed. By 15 mins, he was sound asleep enough to be laid down. For half the price of his last sleep sack, he’s twice as comfortable and that makes this sleep deprived mama very happy.TLDR; Buy it! Get your LO to sleep quickly and go enjoy your dessert in peace!

Good for arms up sleepers even when they are still small
Works great for my 6-week old who hates being swaddled. If you have an arms- up sleeper who is still waking up from Moro reflex I'd definitely recommend. My kiddo is only around 10 lbs and the small fits well. I went ahead and ordered a medium for him to grow into and it's good too - if you are on the cusp of a size I think it would be ok to size up.

Not worth it
Was looking forward to getting this, but when it arrived, waist was extremely narrow, compared to the rest of it, to the extent it was very tight on my 2mth old, compared to the length. Arm section is very short also, impossible to use on my baby

Comfy

Talla pequeña
El producto es de buena calidad aunque fino, lo devolví porque la talla M no se correspondía con la descripción de 6 a 12 meses , si no de 3 a 6 meses (hasta 9 kilos)
