Great device for the price. It has a few non-essential flaws.
This is an excellent little device for the price. It seems well built and works well. I enjoy using it quite a lot. There are a few things that I would have loved if they were available:- Longer battery life (a workaround is plugging the charger while working)- The UI can be improved. I hate that I cannot use the arrows to move from one menu level to another, instead of using only the Return and OK buttons.- The device "forgets" its current settings every time it is turned off. You need to save them from the menu manually or dial in all the parameters again when you turn it on.- I do not see a math operation between channels. This function is proper sometimes, and does not seem hard to implement. I hope they include it in a future firmware version.- I noticed a couple of bugs: 1) The frequency calculation is wrong when Zoom mode is active. 2) I noticed that sometimes the number of activated measurement items in the menu is not displayed correctly.- It was excruciating to update the firmware. The procedure is relatively straightforward, but connecting the device to a computer was almost impossible. I tried Windows and Mac. The experience on both was the same. The OS could not recognize the device, and I had to plug it in and out a few times until I could copy the firmware ISO onto the internal memory.

Didn't last long, but made right
Let me start off by saying that, aside from the fact that it worked for less than six months, I actually like this little scope. That said, it lasted less than six months of extremely light use (used for a few minutes on about a half dozen occasions, battery kept charged in that time), and when I reached out to their customer service department, my message was ignored. Disappointing, to say the least. EDIT. After writing this review, FNRSI reached out, had me do some troubleshooting, and then sent me a replacement. I'm happy once again.

Too many flaws
I don't know how ppl are using this scope in real life application because it lacks even a basic things- no trigger voltage is shown- no signal is shown at normal and single trigger modes- it froze several times during 1 hour of use- zoom mode is completely useless- storage depth is so small you can't even investigate a waveform- roll mode is not continuous, signal just goes from left to right side of the screen, and then starts overIt's better to add 200$ extra and get some real thing, this one is just a toy

Pretty good for a fairly afordable portable scope
So I've had this for a few months now. It's a lot of value for what you pay. You'll need to read the manual to learn how to use the interface properly, the buttons aren't entirely intuitive. They've had to bury some things in the menus, and go with dual purpose on some of them. It's the price you pay for the compact size.I really like that it has honest to goodness BNC connectors for the probes instead of micro connectors like a lot of other portable scopes often go with. It's a bit bigger for it, but It means I can connect it to stuff I already have.I think my only wish for it would be if it had a connector for an external trigger.

it's what they don't tell you
Please understand, it says 2 channel, but ch2 is fixed at 200mv. hardly a real 2 ch scope. Also the output of the signal generator is also fixed at something less than 1 volt PPK.Always remember it's not what features they show it's the ones they don't show
