If you are looking for a great iodine supplement, look no further! Bladderwrack is a better choice instead of regular iodine because it is a natural iodine producing plant. Nature's Way is a trustworthy brand just like NOW brand is. After taking iodine supplements for a number of years without any real effect on my metabolism and hyperthyroid, I read about Bladderwrack and chose Nature's Way because they did not combine it with other herbs. Within the first month I noticed a real difference in my body's metabolism as well as helping with the hyperthyroidism. I have taken it with food in the morning as well as without food in the morning - food slows down the absorption rate of the Bladderwrack so I prefer it without food. I have struggled with thyroid issues, go through periods of hypoglycemia (as tested by blood sugar levels), and have always craved and enjoyed foods high in soluble fats without realizing my body was trying to stabilize. The product itself is great! It has been a substitute for prescription thyroid medication and works the same! However, I clicked on ‘pack of 2’ but only received one unit. There were 16 other reviews that said the same thing, ‘pack of 2’ is not real 😳

This was actually recommended by my physician because of the terrible leg and foot cramps that I would have at night. Since I started taking this (about a year ago), I haven't had any more cramping. I can't say that it would work for everyone, but it sure has worked for me. What a joy to be able to relax in the evening without those terrible cramps!
