The XG10575 fit my application correctly and the SureGrip coating made installation easier with oily hands. The filter feels well built and is designed for longer synthetic-oil intervals. I still follow my vehicle's maintenance schedule rather than relying only on the advertised mileage. It costs more than an entry-level filter, but the construction and easier handling are worthwhile.

I've been using Fram oil filters for decades as I change my own oil. I believe the oil to be the lifeblood of the vehicle. I cannot tell you if they are better than all other filters. I can tell you the mechanics always said my oil looked very clean. My vehicle is going on year 23. The engine runs as well as it did in year 1. You read a lot about saving money on filters. Why would you? Put the best filter you can on your vehicle. The return on investment far outweighs the cost. I will continue to use the Fram filters as they have always treated me well and based on engine performance, my vehicle as well. 1 note. The textured end is great for controlling take off and put on.

Great quality I have grown to expect from Fram. Simple install and easy removal because of the grip that it comes with.

The gold fram ultra synthetic is a great filter for the money. High quality.But the orange and silver filter are the opposite. Very poor quality from fram and I would not recommend to anyone. Wouldn’t touch it with a 10ft pole.

The Ultra Synthetic is the best filter I've used. I use it on both of my Jeeps, my old truck and my newer F150 Coyote 5.0. I live in the deep south where it gets scorching hot hitting 100 or above the summer for 4 months it gets down to 0 or lower a few times each winter. I've tried other brands but always come back to the Fram Ultra. Admittedly, I wouldn't use the basic filter or the XG because they're as good as the other brands but the Ultra is better than the other brands
