I bought this half umbrella stand to use on my deck where there’s no room for a full-size umbrella. I use it with a half umbrella and what I like about it is that it is covered in a plastic material so it won’t rust, as I live near the ocean with salt, water breeze, so far, it has been solid and hold the umbrella and close to the wall of my condo deck, so it’s out-of-the-way.

The bottom weight for my half umbrella didn’t fit properly. The hole on the base is to big and the umbrella moves back and forth because the base doesn’t give support. I’m 77 years old and cannot pay someone to return the base to Amazon. I’m disappointed with your protect. It’s not a universal support base. Rita

It’s great for its purpose, however before ordering be sure you need that much weight. It is very heavy; back strain heavy. Once it’s down you won’t want to move it again.
