It does the job.

I cut 24 x 48 porcelain tiles with this using a $10 angle grinder. I already had a turbo style blade, but test cuts showed it chipped more than I liked. So I bought this to minimize chipping, and it was a good purchase. I recommend using masking tape on your cut line for two reasons: one, to make it easier to see your markings especially on high gloss porcelain tile. Two, I believe a heavy masking tape helps reduce chipping.For the few cuts I’ve made with this saw blade I have not used water. I had my helper blow air over the cut to keep the dust away and to help cool the blade. Obviously air is not as good as water, but it’s a lot less messy. This blade did very well with no water. I don’t expect it to last forever, so I did what was most convenient for me.I also used the side of the blade to grind off some porcelain material to improve the fit in my location. I suspect this is an abuse of the blade but it seem to handle it quite well.
