ProFitness Weight Lifting Belt - Premium 4" Wide Functional Fitness Belt for Men & Women - Squat & Deadlift Support

Full disclosure, I got this belt for free. Honestly, I thought this was going to be just another lifting belt. I figured so long as the belt is made well (it is), thick enough to stabilize/support (it is), and fits (it does); then it should be like every other buckle based lifting belt. I should know, I've used a handful of them.Well I was wrong.Testing: I used this for heavy deadlifts and squats. I intend to also use it for bent over rows as well as over head press.This belt is great. In my eyes these are three things that set this belt above it's competitors. The fit, the flap and the taper.Many belts I've used in the past have been "one size fits all", which is fine. Just.... fine. But then you typically end up with all of this excess belt hanging off your side assuming you're not large. Put simply, I'm a big fan of having belt sizes. Like this one. Mine fit as expected.I don't know how to describe it other than the flap, but there's a flap under the receiving end of the buckle. The flap is such a nice touch; if you're wearing a shirt, it keeps your shirt from getting sucked into the belt when you're putting it on. If it's on bare skin, it's much more comfortable than having a metal buckle dig into your flesh.I wasn't sure about the tape when I saw it at first. Every other belt I've seen/used has been the same height the whole way around. I'm now a fan, I think it's way more comfortable. ALSO as someone who's let cardio go to the wayside while focusing on lifting, I felt that I could get an extra rep in on squats because it seemed easier to breath- less pressure on the gut while still maintening plenty of support on the back.Overall this belt is great. The built quality is top notch and I'm very impressed with the aforementioned design choices.Side note: for those wondering "do I need a belt?". The short answer is, when squatting/deadlifting/rowing, the safe thing to do is brace your back with a belt. Not only is it safe, it'll allow you to lift more. The first time I lifted with a belt, it added 45lb to my deadlift.Get a belt, get this one

This was my first time purchasing a belt , i was very unsure about it as I really don’t know which are best. I read some reviews on this products and saw the videos/photos and it sold me. I decided to order a size M. I have to say, WOW , it gives amazing support and I was able to lift heavier feeling safe BUT i buckled it to the last whole and realized it was too big. I reached out and wow!!! thank you for not making me go through the hassle of returning it. i was told they were sending a new one out and to keep it or pass the current one to a friend !! never have i had a company do that!! Thank you so much; definitely will order from you again!

The media could not be loaded. This is my first weightlifting belt ever and on first use I immediately felt an improvement in my deadlift and pendlay rows. As someone with a full knee replacement I am extremely cautious about my lower back. With this belt I felt more braced and firm than I ever have before!The belt felt already broken-in as advertised and the Large was the perfect size for me (I’m 5’10” and 200lbs, pants size 33”, waist 35”). Once I figured out the best position to wear it, I did not feel any pinching in the ribs or stomach when bending over.The video shows how much smoother and quicker I was able to lift 340lbs. Without the belt I was much slower and definitely was not as focused on my muscles working and more focused on the way my lower back feels. Typically I can only do 1 set with good form before my lower back started compensating. With the belt I didn’t even think about my lower back at all because I felt very stable and knocked out 2 sets of 3 without any straining . I’m more confident now that I have the belt I should have no problem going for new PRs!I’m 38 and I’ve deadlifted and squatted heavy for over 20 years and this belt made me feel like I was in my 20s again! I am a 34 waist and ordered the medium and while it did fit me on the very last rung, the end of the belt stuck out impeding my lifts. I contacted support from a card that comes with the belt and they sent me a large in just a few days. Very easy to work. The belt is durable, comfortable, and great quality, especially for the price. 5/5 would recommend.

I’ve never used a weight belt before, decided to try it out to help support my back and attempt heavier weight to get some gains.The shipping for this was speedy. It looks sleek and much better what everyone else in gym wears. Seems like it’s a solid material, it’ll be a good couple of uses before it’ll deteriorate (if it does) but it comes with a lifetime warranty which is a solid steal, really shows this company is confident in their product.When I tried it the first time. It seemed like it was true to size. Didn’t need a size bigger or smaller. I had room to adjust it as I pleased. With the help of this bad boy, I was able to pack a good amount of extra weight to my routine without hurting my back. I also felt my form wasn’t hindered by it, if any RV I gotta it helped maintain it as I worked on my reps. It didn’t impede my work out, nor did it dig into my ribs. It was uncomfortable only because I’ve never used a belt before. I’m sure I’ll get used to it.This belt isn’t wide and doesn’t cover the lower portion your back like other belts do but after doing some research, that’s the last thing you want. You only want it to cover a certain part so the wideness of this belt seems appropriate.Putting the belt away in my bag was also nice and compact. It doesn’t take much room which is nice.I’m gonna keep using the belt. I’ve had a good experience with it. for others looking for a good deal. I’d say this is it.
