Kilner0.35 Litre Genuine Clip Top Jar (Pack of 12)

The Kilner round clip glass jars are beautiful, sturdy and airtight. They are great for storing homemade jams, marmalades, relish and chutneys. It makes for a lovely present for family and friends.The 12 x bottle bundle was a great price for the quality of such lovely jars.Whilst sterilising the bottles before filling it with my caramelised onion and tomator chutney, one of the jars unfortunately gave way at the base and broke. It was the only faulty one in the batch. I send a message with pictures to the vendor and a lady called Victoria replied promptly advising that they would sent a replacement jar. The replacement arrived today.Thank you for your excellent communication and customer service.

Putting jam in

In the tropics, where ants get everywhere, these jars are indispensable, particularly for anything with sugar in. Recommend you buy some spare rubber seals for when the first set perishes. Not sure how long that will be but I imagine you could scrunch up a few of them and put them in a larger Kilner clip top jar to stay functional. One or two of the clips have slight defects due to quality control oversights but these are certainly the business.

Bought to decant home made gin into and although delivery was very slow, several weeks longer than promised, they did come eventually and work very well.

Arrived double boxed but one jar was shattered

I love Kilner jars. They're probably not the best out there, and the occasional one has a slightly gammy lid, but for charm and ergonomic satisfaction they are unbeatable. They hold everything from spices to pasta in my pantry and I wouldn't like to swap!

these jars have easy-access tops, and are made of thick glass. The classic, old-fashioned Kilner Jar. Perfect.
