Excellent PSU, surprisingly small and whisper quiet.I purchased this to replace an EVGA 750W that was a decade old. I suspected it may have been behind my PC crashing on a rare occasion when doing some very heavy processing in Lightroom, and indeed the problem has disappeared since switching to this unit. It's smaller than the old EVGA and some people have mentioned the fan being noticeable at full tilt, but I haven't heard a single thing from it. My PC is generally very quiet and in fact seems quieter still since installing this. I haven't even touched Eco mode - I haven't had any reason to.It's well packaged and comes with every cable you could think of. I was surprised to see that it even comes with molex cables, as I would guess it's fairly rare to see them in a PC these days. I know I've long since been well rid of them and any drive that used them.I've seen people online talking about potentially buying this and backing out because it's not well known enough, and it gave me pause as I considered getting it myself. But I'm very glad I did, it's cheaper than it's competitors, comes with everything you need and is apparently merely a repackaging of a very well known and trusted PSU manufacturer, so I would say that yes, you would have peace of mind if you go with this.I certainly have. It's powering my 5950X, 64GB, RX 7800 XT machine with several different drives (NVME, SATA SSD, SATA spindle drives) and numerous 200mm case fans with no issues, and my crashing problem is now only a memory. It's nice that it's such a neat and compact size too, and though hidden by the PSU shroud in my case, if it didn't have one it would look great sitting there.

I was a bit hesitant to get the Vetroo 1000W PSU as it had a good review on the Hardware Busters website though it had been removed as a few people reported a noisy fan. Also as it was not a tier 1 vendor like Seasonic, Superflower and the majors like Corsair, EVGA, NZXT and Asus etc. it was a bit of a worry but the pricing for an ATX 3.0 and PCIe 5.0 ready PSU was exceptional, especially for a 1000w unit.Overall this is a very well made PSU, it is compact with all the cables included with the added bonus of the cables being colour coded, so in my case, all the cables are white to go with the white PSU. Easy of installation was great and everything went together with no issues and all the cables are modular so you only use what you have to. The dedicated 16 pin GPU cable is perfect and fit very well to the 4090 so again no issues.I am running a fairly powerful PC with a 13700K overclocked and a RTX 4090 but this PSU handled this with no issues even when stress testing! Sound though it can get a bit loud at full tilt was not an issue and with the eco mode it is wisper quiet and with normal use like gaming, you will not hear this PSU...I will provide an update in 6 months or before should anything go wrong but for the moment, this is a great value PSU.

Replaced for my pc upgrade needed more power.

Purchased 26th Feb 2024 for £135 inc UK delivery.Review date: 5-2-2026.I started having issues with my PC, worked through a process of elimination and ended up with just the PSU left. My PC still crashes to this day, and even crashed today while talking to amazon chat about this whole debacle.I contacted Amazon UK who ONLY gave me the option to contact the MANUFACTURER, not supplier. Manufacturer, to apply the 'Ten year MANUFACTURER warranty.'Vetroo contacted me outside of amazon after I'd sent all the details. (Order number, dates, screenshots etc.)They then responded by saying they "Could not find my order, could I forward a screenshot of it."I'd literally done that and this was their response...I responded with the same information. They responded with:"We can offer you £20 to buy a new power supply." Yes Twenty GBP.And yes, where did the Ten year MANUFACTURER warranty disappear to? Absolutely disgraceful.This went on, and on, and on...And they even told me that actually, it has a 5 year warranty. Yes five, where did that come from? Talk about trying to flaunt a legally agreed warranty.Flat out refused the MANUFACTURER warranty. They then started a back and forth completely wasting my time so I spoke to our family solicitor who actually laughed. "Cut and dry, they are obligated to replace like for like, or fully refund (Minus postage costs.)" AND they are falsely advertising.I have reported them to Amazon, and my solicitor is on standby. I would urge people to check the 1 star reviews, or enter/search the word 'Warranty' in the 'Search customer reviews' text box. You'll find many others who have been denied warranty claims.This has been ongoing since 2nd December 2025! Today is 5th Feb 2026!

Brilliant for my new gaming PC that I am building

Wanted to get a new PSU and I was still rocking one from 6 years ago and I was at the upper end of its power limit.The choice was between this, Thermaltake GFA3, Coolermaster V850 or Lian Li SP850 and I chose this one due to the 1000w, slightly cheaper price and sheer curiosity.The power supply packaging is very nice and comes with a load of cables.Installation was easy and the cables are of a nice quality.I have 2 gripes with this product, one is the PCIe cables which are those gross double ended ones. I would have liked just 1:1 cables so I don't have to look at the ugly ends just sitting there.Additionally the motherboard cable is some weird double ended thing? I guess this is a newer thing but it splits into 2 on the PSU side and as a result the cable looks super messy and doesn't hold neatly like an extension cable would do.If you were hoping you could get away without using extensions here then I would say probably not.I'll update the review if the PSU breaks as that's why we are all in the reviews to see if this thing will fry your system - the PSU is currently sitting at a specilative B on the PSU tier list so is basically unknown right now.Edit: 25/10/24 - Still going strong - no complaints yet.

Saved my PC. Was stressing all weekend when performing a new build because a PSU that previously worked decided to short out on me. Was terrified I fried my PC. Got this in the morning, plugged it in and everything worked like a dream. PSU is extremely quiet, ports are easily identifiable, almost has a fool proof design. Is future proof with two 600w GPU cables. Price is crazy good, cables are white and attractive for my black and white build (also it comes with all the cables you could ever need). Extremely satisfied so far. Will see how it plays out over the coming months, but Vetroo you saved me and my sanity. Will be a repeat customer for other components given that the psu stays as reliable as it has been.

My first impressions of Vetroo 1000W white PSU are very positive. It is fully modular, supports ATX 3.0 modern standard and has two PCIe 5.0 power ports with up to 600W power delivery for modern graphics cards (1 12VHPWR cable included). It also has smart fan technology to eliminate any fan noise at low power delivery.Ever popular Cultists PSU tier list puts this PSU in category B (recommended) and authoritative Hardware Busters reviews this PSU very positively, noting modern design, quality components and stable power.My PSU came with all white high quality cables (power cord is still black) in a nice presentation package and installing this PSU in the case was effortless with clearly marked ports and cables, so there is no confusion what cable should go where.Vetroo PSU powers hungry NVidia 4080 Super graphics card without a hitch using the included 12VHPWR cable and all stability stress tests ran without any problems. PSU is dead silent most of the time and when fan operates at high load it is very quiet and drowns in the noise of the case fans.Vetroo does not make this PSU, rather relying on the high reputation OEM manufacturer who also makes much more expensive SeaSonic and EVGA PSUs. Time will tell if this PSU is going to last, but for the price it is an unbeatable value in a sea of very expensive brand name PSU vendors.
